The Cheesecake Factory has gone so down hill. Wow. Everything about this place has gotten worse. The service is horrendous. The food is smaller, prices higher and the kicker it tastes horrible. The quality has taken a nose dive. At their price points size and quality does not have to diminish. My CF famous Chicken plate was like eating rubber. I told the waitress. And I have never turned back food anywhere. It was actually embarrassing and she was like what do you want me to do. It was decided to take off bill so I just didn't eat The manager was informed and the waitress and her stuck their fingers in it to see if it was indeed rubbery. Yes stuck fingers in. At the desk to check it. Like I would spit out the chicken and not eat because I enjoy not eating and watching my family eat at restaurants. As bad as this place was tonight I am shocked that it is not out of business. I should have known. There were signs. Plenty of them. When seated the server did not even check on us for 16 minutes. 0. I have never in my entire life waited 16 minutes at a table without being talked to. It took another 12 to get our drinks. So we are at 28 minutes. I should have known right then. By the time we got our appetizer and finished it we were almost an hour and 15 minutes in. Then the food. We waited another 30 minutes. We were then told it was being plated. Which means it was done. But we didn't see our food for another 18 minutes. The waitress was talking at another table knowing we were being plated. No wonder why I had rubber chicken it was sitting under a hot lamp most likely and the mashed potatoes were dry and lukewarm at best. Everyone's food was not good and was average at best. And all the main sides were lukewarm. Something I expect at a local chain fast food restaurant. Not at a place that serves $25 appetizers and $50 meals. This place used to be pretty amazing. It is that no longer. My wife's salmon was ok. The best thing here were the fries. So if you enjoy $200 dollar fries then you will love it. When your paying 150+ you expect good service and food. End of story. Not ok. And after the whole experience the manager did not think it was a good idea to come by the table. Even though my plate had rubber chicken on it and chicken that was a quarter of the size of the chicken that was on the same plate next to me and across from me. You could visually see that mine was way off. She put her fingers in so she knew all about my thin rubber chicken. She could see and feel why I couldn't eat it. So I sat and watched everyone eat and still no visit. I ate on the way home at a fast food place. Cheesecake Factory should be ashamed that this is the product they are putting forward from service to food. Shame on them. If they don't recognize this quickly they too will be out of business....
Read moreWent for my daughters 13th bday per her request, she had never been. We ordered:
Dumplings-delish but outrageously priced at $18 for 6 small Dumplings would not order again Brussel Sprouts- delish but for the price felt like there should have been more bacon, maybe found 10 small pieces in the portion. Hot Honey Chicken and Biscuit-great deal! $10 for smaller portion but was 2 solid sets of a biscuit with a good piece of chicken and sausage gravy atop. My 94 year old auntie enjoyed it without the hot honey. Kids Chicken Alfredo-she loved it! Chicken Alfredo-$30 price was WILD! Portion side by side with child portion was similar at less than half the price. Delicious nonetheless but won't order again simply because the price is crazy Cobb Salad-absolutely HUGE salad, $20 worth every penny. Could feed a whole family and quality fresh ingredients. 10/10 recommend Chicken Katsu Bowl-ordered to take home to family member, they enjoyed and price was reasonable Peach Cheesecake-mom loved Triple Berry Cheesecake-not my fave, too lemony not enough berry Classic Strawberry Cheesecake-imo the absolute best cheesecake there is, delish Apple Crisp-94 year old auntie LOVED Cherry Cheesecake-took home to family member who liked it
Pros: -Great atmosphere as always -quality ingredients -huge menu -Cheesecake is the bomb
Cons: -waited about 10-15 minutes to be seated which normally wouldnt be an issue except it was like 4pm and the restaurant was essentially empty so not sure what the delay was -once seated was another 10 minutes to be asked about drinks, then another 10 to get them. 94 year old auntie asked specifically for regular black decaf tea, and explained if it wasnt regular black tea she would have something else. Waitress said she would check, but she brought hot water with 3 decaf options non of which were regular and seemed annoyed when we asked her to take it back and to have decaf coffee instead. We appreciated she tried, but also we had told her so not our fault the teapot was wasted. -we ordered, received and were done eating our apps before the waitress took our entree order, then seemed annoyed when I pointed out we hadn't yet put in our food and made a comment about doing the best she can and would be right with us. We weren't upset or mean to her, I just said hey sorry we havent ordered yet.
Overall we had a good time and most food was delish, but very very pricey. Service wasnt awful, but wanted great. At the price point I would expect better. My daughter loved her food so since it was her birthday...
Read moreIt was even more dark than your standard Cheesecake Facory. The women at the front desk told us it would be 40 minutes to get a text, and they were correct. But then we had to stad at the top of the stairs for another 15 minutes while two other people walked by and asked our name. Finally we get a table...15 minutes late, but it is what it is. Then we sit and wait....and wait....and then waited a little more. We did finally get waited on and our gentle server asked if he could get us a drink...we all ordered soft drinks and he asked if we had seen their drink menu.. Sure we did but we didn't order those. Then we waited.....and waited... he finally came back with our beverages and then said he would be right back and we said oh no...we are going to order. So we did and he was very nice. And then we waited...and waited. I get that everywhere is shorted, but they didn't even have all the tables full. I have worked in many restaurants so I get it. I know how rough it can be. But if it is the tough for your staff that now their tip is going to be effected then put a longer wait time at your door! I would have been much happier if they had just said it will be well over an hour than tell me.40 minutes. I guess, lesson learned, ask how long it will take to get "service" and not how long it will be to "get a table". The food was luke warm. We were also lucky enough to sit directly next to an ordering area where alllllll the wait staff would meet and often discuss how bad there tables were. It was most entertaining when a female waitstaff said how she was going to strangle her table for not ordering food yet after they had been there an hour waiting for people. I said, well, as long as their drinking you should be happy enough. And then she said sorry, didn't realize you heard that, but I'm going to force feed them shots. I'm sure it was all well and good and.she wasn't really going to do that, but when did come to the point that we think that is OK to say? Has it always been this way? I get that this is a far out there review, but this was the whole experience. It's become so expensive to go out that this should not be the experience. I know that it will be a long time, if ever, that I give the Cheesecake Factory my extra time and money.
Now I just finally got to my take home Cheesecake and that was wrong...I ordered strawberry Cheesecake and got Cheesecake with...
