Let me just say that I've eaten at Pizzico a lot. This restaurant has a such a great vibe to it. A neighborhood restaurant that very charming and cozy. They have 2 bars and 2 sobbing areas. They have a wall which usually boasts their 4 (or more) specials of the night. What is great about This chalkboard wall, is that each special let's you know where the products are sourced. I love their food-especially the Tuna Tostada- this amazing! The tuna is tartare and it comes sliced (or cubed) over 2 crispy tostada. The calamari is also very good- light batter and a generous amount of hot peppers but the sauce that's drizzled over makes this dish. The sauce has a nice bite to it. I'm not sure if it's a chipotle aioli but it's a bit spicy. Last night we had the tuna tostada, calamari fritti and a small cheese pizza for our daughter. Then we had a special shrinp & bucatini but we split this dinner. Last night the shrimp and bucatini was not great. It just didn't have any flavor. We should"be gotten the salmon, but when our waitress came over and asked how everything was and heard our reactio she talked to the manager and took it off the menu. Now this will not stop us from going back. As I've said this place is excellent. This is the only bad dinner I've had at Pizzico. Some people might say that they are done with a restaurant after a bad meal, but not us. One bad meal does not make a restaurant. Please check out Pizzico for it's great charm, excellent food...

I was dissatisfied with this establishment. I had made reservations one month ago for a party of five. We arrived to the establishment Wednesday, September 16th at 6:30pm, there was no reservations for my party. I had a confirmation through email about my reservation for this night with a comment telling this establishment that one of my guests has a nut allergy. I received a confirmation stating it was no problem with this situation. The host told us there will be additional twenty minute to wait for a table. That was unacceptable for me. The host then suggested we be seated outside on the sidewalk; we proceeded to check out the seating arrangements. My guest decided to be seated outside. Our server did their best to accommodate my party and did their best. We ordered cocktails, appetizers, and then dinner. We all received our dinners except for one of my guest, she had ordered the most simplest dish on the menu, ( cappellini in garlic sauce). We were then informed that they had made a mistake with her dish and made it with marinara sauce. That was also unacceptable to me and my guests. Ten minutes later her dinner with out. I understand people make mistakes, but it is a simple dish. We ordered coffee and dessert. The establishment did take the one dish off the bill, due to the long delay of that one meal. Not only the staff but the management was aware that we were not happy about everything that had happened and never was attempt made...

I had gone there some months ago, and can't remember exactly what I had. I feel like it was poultry with something stuffed in it with sauce, vegetable and potato. Anyway, it was a special, and it was remarkably good. I'm sorry I didn't review it while it was fresh in my mind. So, I went back the other day for lunch, and got the fish n chips (fries), as well as an eggplant and goat cheese appetizer. I found the appetizer a little off balance; it had some good flavors, but came off a bit dry, as well as being somewhat too filling for an appetizer. I think it could have used less eggplant, along with some more greens, balsamic , and EVOO. The fish was fresh, with the nicest, lightest beer batter I ever ate; almost like a tempura. Instead of tartar sauce, it came with a delicious aioli, which really was next level. And this may seem an odd thing to mention, but the bread that the server brought was, far and away, the best bread I've ever had in a restaurant, and one of the best breads I've ever had anywhere. I could, actually, have just sat there dipping bread in the EVOO all afternoon. Service was exceptionally attentive and knowledgeable. Prices are quite fair. Not cheap, not...

7/11/24 I took a friend who has never been before and she loved it as much as I did. Thank you to Lexi for being an excellent server! The menu for restaurant week was perfect. Caprese salad, chicken saltimbocca, eggplant parm, the chocolate mousse cake, and their amazing sage martini. It made for a fantastic evening. Thank you! If I had to pick a few favorite restaurants on the east side of Providence, I’d say Pizzico would be one of my top 3. I’ve been coming here for almost 15 years and it’s always a superb experience. The staff is always top notch which is the building block of a great restaurant. Crystal was excellent. Tonight was one of their best dishes- chicken parmesan. What separates it from other places- their homemade red sauce as well as a fresh cut of chicken. The perfect drink to wash it down was their pear martini… another item they do better than many other restaurants. They’re always a generous size!

My husband and I ensured a lovely Sunday evening dining at to Pizziko. Our waitress Jessica was is phenomenal. She was attentive, fun, and knowledgeable and recommeded a great pairing wine. conserved, a great wine. Our meal came quickly and was done to perfection. The food was delicious. My husband had the special--the filet funghi, on the sweet side, but he described it as delicious from soup to nuts. The vegetables were cooked to perfection. l had the Fungi Vitello. The veal was cooked perfectly, also. The garlic cream sauce was understated yet flavorful. The fingerling potatoes were perfectly roasted but needed a little extra seasoning. We also split the crabcake which was delicious, also. Thiswas my second time and my husband's first. We'll be back!! Bravissimo.
