On a whim, I ducked into Sura, driven by a sudden and intense craving for a bowl of spicy ramen. The moment I stepped through the door, however, I knew I was in for more than just a quick meal. I was immediately enveloped by the most incredible aroma—a warm, welcoming cloud of rich, savory broth, garlic, and something deliciously complex I couldn't quite name. What started as a simple mission for noodles transformed into a full sensory experience before I even saw the menu. I ordered the spicy ramen, and it did not disappoint. It arrived steaming, a beautiful cauldron of deep red broth, perfectly springy noodles, and tender toppings. The spice level was absolute perfection; it was a satisfying, slow-burning heat that warmed me from the inside out without overwhelming the other delicate flavors. It was clear this wasn't just soup; it was a carefully crafted bowl of comfort. But the real surprise came on a small tray served alongside my ramen: a colorful assortment of banchan, or small Korean side dishes. Among them were glistening, paper-thin pickled red onions. I’d never had them before and eyed them with a bit of suspicion. On a whim, I tried one. The initial sharp, tangy bite gave way to a surprising sweetness and a delightful crunch that cut through the richness of the ramen broth beautifully. While I can't say I'll be actively seeking out pickled onions on my own from now on, that small taste was a wonderful discovery. Should one cross my path by chance again, especially next to a bowl of Sura's fantastic ramen, I won't just consider eating it—I’ll welcome it as a delicious old friend. My simple quest for ramen turned into a memorable meal, and I'll...
Read moreThis fusion restaurant is very good. I have been twice this week. They have many options to choose from and very wide range of choices.
Prices also range wide depending on the taste of the person and the budget available. Although I would say it is a bit pricy. Nonetheless, portions are huge so it makes up for it. As an international visitor I do not give this place five stars because to my the dishes are way too big, I guess a great quantity of food goes to waste everyday.
On the other hand the place has been carefully designed and decorated, light is cozy while the place has a modern style, very elegant. Nonetheless tables are disposed in an impersonal manner, there is nothing that will soften noise (like curtains, carpets or a table arrangement that would encourage a feeling of intimacy) and there are posters and a few other objects that completely mess up the very gorgeous interior (plastic flowers at the counter, the coca-cola fridge public-oriented, publicity posters on the wall...).
I highly recommend this place to go eat, but it needs to “chic-up” with these details. Which it...
Read moreHonestly if you going to pick up a delivery order there, avoided! There is one lady, that is extremely rude and have abuse communication. I went lost with a delivery and the gps of the app was sending me there, plus the telephone number was the number of the restaurant the appears, I went asking for the person and confirming the places, instead get a angry response for a simple questions and for final when I was walking out she mention the she was there since 11 am and nobody order food and the maybe was 2 floor” I and I asked where was the 2 floor and she didn’t respond.
Honestly disgusting behavior, for 3 simple questions the could respond with a kind and respectful answer.
I suggest the you take some therapy, to learn how to respect, respond, managing aggression, anger and passive-direct violence and remember that you are in the same boat, and for any reason doesn’t give you the right to put people to pay a emocional prices.
If this a delivery, I don’t want to imagine the customer service...
