Edit: 3 years ago, I brushed off a lot of things but recently the service here has have been mediocre. handing my sibling's order to other customer (making her wait almost 10 minutes), and rather than apologizing and remaking the drink, they fooled around made rediculous excuses saying "Oh we handed the drink to the other person over there". Well then remake it rather than standing there making excuses/wasting all of our time. Not only that, when they did remake the drink, they made it wrong. It's upsetting since the drink is not that cheap to be exact. Left the milk on the counter for I don't know how long on busy days sometimes so had upset stomach few times (and I'm usually capable of handling a lot of spoiled foods). Unsanitary.
Several more other bad experiences our family had. It happens, when it comes to restaurant business, and I use to work at the food business so I can understand not everything will be perfect. It's unfortunate that half of the time, when we enter the building we have to worry of getting our order when we just want our drink. On the other hand, the taste of the drink is the only thing that saves this store:

Read moreAs soon as you walk inside there's an aroma of herbal tea in the room that is good , the sponge cakes look like different confections , I tried 2 different kinds , they are not that good they feel mushy and wet and are filled with jelly's. The service is always slow paced when on point to satisfactory. Accurateness and communication could be better. I have noticed when customers fill the lines up there service gets 2 stars to my opinion because there not using gloves and not all staff are wearing masks to make beverages and they get there hands sticky and that's not good when your beverage is up next. You get the idea because there are not using gloves so it gets messy, they speed up the process racing to give customers there orders and I have seen so many requests for remakes at times it took 20 minutes to get my beverage. Sometimes customers grab orders that are not theirs like its free or something when left unnoticed. The quality goes down in the beverages as you try different ones especially the different versions of Matcha they just didnt make any sense , I have had to ask for remakes several times due to lack of accuracy, time , cleanliness , and flavor profiles being unsatisfying. Im more than half way through a stamp card and most likely will stop coming to this particular teahouse. They've even refused to refund me for bad service last visit. Read moreI am only giving it a 3 because of the customer service. Their slushes and other drinks are typically great. I always order from here, but usually do delivery. The one time I went to pick up my order because I was near by, the service was awful. First, I came in and waited patiently while it appeared that the workers were working on preparing orders. However, I was only acknowledged after standing there for several minutes. When one of the workers finally acknowledged I was there, I told her that I had ordered online and gave her my name. She then pointed to my order (3 drinks) and repositioned them on the counter for me to take them. Not bagged up as they usually do. I guess she noticed the confusion on my face and asked if I needed a bag. I said yes and she then placed 3 bags on the counter for me to bag up my drinks and carry on my own, not the bag with the drink tray. I bagged up my drinks and left, but it left a negative...
