Tizzy K's Cereal Ice Cream — Restaurant in Providence

Please stop everything you're doing and run to Tizzy's if you see their ice cream cart along the Providence waterfront. I walked by in my graduation attire and they were so sweet--they offered both their congrats and samples for the whole family! The duo working were both so genuine, kind, and excited to introduce us to their cereal ice cream flavors.

We got to try the cocoa puffs and frosted flakes flavors. They steep the actual cereal into the ice cream so both varieties were packed with flavor. We're chocoholics so we went with 2 Cocoa Puffs cones. I hope this flavor stays on the menu forever because it is quite honestly some of the best ice cream I've ever had.

PS Later this year they're supposed to convert a metal shipping container to a more permanent kiosk right near the PVD pedestrian bridge! I'm very ready to be a regular...

It’d be cool if I could just post a super long “yaaaaaas,” because that’s the internal dialogue I have when I eat Tizzy K’s.

The people behind it? Awesome. The cart? Adorable. The ice cream? Euphoric.

I started following these guys when they were crowdfunding for their cart a couple years back. The concept of cereal milk ice cream was exciting from the start, but I never, ever, ever expected their offerings to be as rich, creamy, and delectable as they are (all the flavors I’ve tried are delicious, but Oreo O’s and Golden Grahams are particular winners).

Whether it be their weekly pint offerings or a treat while going out to the Providence Pedestrian Bridge, Tizzy K’s is a staple treat in my household. It’s one of the main Christmas gifts I got for family members this year, and they all STILL talk about their pints.

The experience of trying Tizzy K cereal milk ice cream for the first time will bring tears of joy to your eyes. If I were to procure a time machine I would use it solely to go back to the moment we bought our first pints of Golden Grahams and Oreo O’s (still our favorites) and relive that over and over again. My fiancé and I love Tizzy K so much we even held off our engagement until later in the afternoon so we wouldn’t miss our pint pickup. Priorities are important people, and Tizzy K’s has become a top weekend priority for us. If you love things like overwhelming joy, indescribable deliciousness, magic, laughter, over the top fun, and new friends, Tizzy K’s is the only place to find all those things at once.
