AWFUL! The only good thing going for this place is the view. After receiving the drinks that we ordered, the server asked if we were going to get more drinks and asked if we wanted to open a tab. At the time we were unsure, so I gave him my card to open a tab. We ordered two drinks (watermelon mojito and margarita). Drinks were watered down and the margarita had too much sour mix you could barely taste the tequila. Since we were not too fond of the drinks and the service wasnât great, we decided to close the tab. The server had a hard time finding my card in the system so he said heâd be right back. He left, walked around, and came back saying he still couldnât find it. He said that since he slid my card I should be âall set.â He was in a rush to move away from us. Before we left, I decided to log into my credit card app and saw that there was an initial charge of $34.24. It was then refunded, then I was recharged $40. I then reviewed the menu online which states the margarita was $12 and the mojito was also $12. I called the server over and showed him the charge and he couldnât explain it. I then asked for the itemized receipt which listed the margarita as $12.00 and an extra $4.00 for Casamigos tequila (ok.. I can understand a bit of an up-charge, but he asked if there was a preference of tequila and it was watered down so it wasnât worth it). Then the mojito was listed as $12.00, they added $2.00 for watermelon and $2.00 for Bacardi. I didnât specifically ask for Bacardi but Iâve never heard of a place charging a price for a drink then charging for the liquor they add to it. The drink should be listed as $14 if thatâs the case (without added flavors). This boosted the subtotal to $32 when it should have been $26 (before tax). THEN a tip of $5.76 was added to the bill which made the total $40 with tax.. and maybe the reason why I was recharged after the initial payment was refunded. Super sketchy and overall dissatisfied with 2 watered down drinks that costed $40. Definitely stay away from here. We later went to The Club next door. The view and service were both great and it only costs us $60 for 4 drinks (which were really good) and the tip for our server. EDIT: the date was Tuesday 5/25 at 4:33 PM the server listed on the...
Read morelate day on Saturday 8/22, we were at aqua bar for our 3rd time over the weekend. By law we are suppose to get food and bring in to the table. I was with a party of 9. 5 of us at table and 4 sitting on one of the railing seating areas. 3 out of the party of 4 got up to go get food as required. As you can imagine late on Saturday all of the takeout food places are very busy. They were gone for no more then 20 minutes and the rude hostess came over and had the nerve to tell out entire group that we were messing up her revenue for the night. Are you kidding me! At that point just our tab for the 5 of us was up to $400 dollars and the others were up to about $300. The waiter was so embarrassed that he turned red after we told him what she said. We tipped the waiter properly but will not be back again. Collectively my group of friends spent well over $1000 dollars at this bar over the course...
Read moreThe Aquabar is situated right at the beach. This is a nice view. There is no food right maybe that will change but one can either bring your own food or buy some at close by restaurants. The drinks menu is somewhat limited but the drinks are all in all good. This i would have wished for a few less seeds in my water melon mojito. The service a below average I waited 15 minutes to be offered to order a drink. The wait time for the drink was about 10 minutes. One has to provide a credit card at time of order which I guess is somewhat ok but annoying as one have no recourse if there is something with the drink. Bring a jacket as it can be...
