My fiancée and I contacted Connie’s about some cupcakes and a round cake for our wedding. Paul was so wonderful to work with! He was responsive and went above and beyond to exceed our expectations! He even delivered our order to the venue for us! Our guests LOVED the cupcakes! We got three different kinds: double chocolate, coconut and vanilla bean! It’s hard to pick which one was best - they were all amazing and the presentation was better than we could have imagined! It was a highlight of our day! :) Thank you Paul and everyone at Connie’s for making our day a special one!

We were walking on Commercial Street when the aromas of freshly baked cookies drew us into Connie’s bakery. The staff were masked and had a partition to add to our feeling of safety as we continue to check out businesses that are learning to build their retail operations in our “ new normal”! We bought their delicious chocolate chip cookies as well as their peanut butter cookies but they also had some spectacular looking desserts. While we didn’t order sandwiches, they had a great looking menu!

Delicious Lunch of Shrimp and Grits at Connie's Cafe on my last day here in Provincetown, MA. The shrimp and grits did not disappoint. The grits were creamy and well seasoned and the Gulf shrimp were perfectly cooked. I've been here twice now and both times the owners Will and Hunter (and staff) have been great. Highly recommend if you're in Provincetown! There is seating outside of the bakery in front.

Stayed in Ptown on a Monday thru Wednesday in June. My partner was very excited to have Connie's breakfast after seeing the menu and reading reviews. We were bummed to see they were only going to be open the last day we were there, but were happy they would be open before we left. We go on Wed morning before checking out and order our food. I had a sandwich and my partner, who is mostly vegan- but will flex on certain cheeses- ordered the tofu scramble bowl (I don't remember the name) but with feta cheese. As we stood waiting, a young lady came in to inquire about a job there. She was in the country/town for the summer as many people are on Cape. The person who had been ringing up said they didn't have time to talk about a job opportunity at that moment as there were people in line for food. (He was very pleasant with her) As soon as the young woman walked out, from the kitchen came grumbling. This cook (?) stating that the young lady must be "stupid" coming in during a rush. (It was maybe 4 people including me) After the cook complained about this young person who was looking for a job, they then continued to refer to my partner's food as the "bag of d!cks". Loudly questioning why someone would get the vegan option and then add cheese to it? Meanwhile, there were 3 or 4 people in the kitchen standing around being barked at by this person who clearly didn't want to be doing what she was doing, but didn't want to ask any of the other employees to help her out in any way. The order came up, I paid and grabbed our food and thanked the guy at checkout for the "bag of d!cks". My sandwich was pretty good, but the bag of d!cks was made in anger and frustration and you could tell. Also, who wants to eat something that someone literally just talked garbage about for the 10 minutes they worked on it in front of the rush that she was mentioning. Seems like a pretty toxic environment, as someone who has worked in food service. I felt bad for the other young employees who probably have to endure some pretty awful...

While the food is decent, the service is terrible at best. From the cashier's "holyer than thou" attitude to the staff in the back making comments about patients, it is a disaster. At one point the phone rang and one of the staff yelled "we are closed!" Very unprofessional. Note to self: be careful which 20-somethings you hire.

Reply: Well let's start here: first, spelling is often attributed to autocorrect, so there's that explained. Then second, I too am a small business owner and I make sure that whoever I have hired as an employee understands that customer service is about the CUSTOMER. When we visited your establishment there was no attitude coming from us, just observation, hence this review. We waited quietly with no comments. As witnessed from other reviews here, it seems like similar obsrvations have been made about the same issue. While patience is definitely needed when dealing with the public, it still does not excuse rude behavior. As a biz owner, reviews are equal to repeat business. Some businesses would be grateful to be in the 300% increase category during this past year. If you want patrons that return, maybe less attitude from the top down? Leadership...

Not impressed. I ordered lunch chicken pesto sandwich on sourdough. The bread wasn't even toasted and the chicken was cold. Not very flavorful at all. Way overpriced for what you get, and it is chicken not crab or lobster. I had a hot coffee and that was very weak and was pretty much flavorless. I'm looking for a positive here but can't find one. The girl who took my order was very unpleasant and had a very annoyed look on her face as if she didn't want to be there. I shared a table with another couple outside and they commented how unfriendly the girl was as well and that there was someone yelling in the kitchen area and when she came out front she was very unhappy looking. In closing it wasn't terrible but the sandwich was no better than a prepackaged 7-11 store bought, but for 3 times the price. And if you are having issues in the kitchen you should never come out front yelling about it in front of your customers. Your customers should never know the issues you are having, because you have lost at least 3 customers that day. Once you make a customer feel uncomfortable in your place, why would we ever...
