Great little find in central PTown. Fine selection of craft beer offerings & food.

Stationed among hordes of everyday average tourist confectionary, sits this hidden gem of flavor & quality, brought to you by Cape Codder & Exec. Chef Nate Dress.

We stopped by during an afternoon trip in late June (2015) & refueled on a dozen plump wellfleet oysters with cocktail sauce & orange blossom mignonette, priced at a reasonable $2.00 each. The oysters were well prepped for eating & nice in size as well. They made a great pairing for my local brewed Jack Abby Berliner Style Larger (Framingham, MA), which is a fine sunny day drinker. This light larger offers a hint of tart or so-called sour, but nothing's that would offend the average joe. With 3.5% alcohol content this beer takes a new twist on a session drinker.

To round out this jaunt, we chose a well manicured charcuterie board. Slight in portion, this offering is nice tastier of some fine work they have undertaken to bring quality house-made flavor to their patrons. Stand-outs here were the dick breast & the ham offering, which were both made in-house.

As the finale, the highly recommended cellar salted rim Bloody Mary boasts tons of flavor & a bit spice to bolster a Cape Retreat. Nearly every eatery in the quaint Provincetown claims to offer the best Bloody Mary, but I would hazard to guess only few are worth mentioning. I recommend governing REGB's rendition a try.

In closing, the menu is small, but well worthy, the atmosphere is calming & serene, among the bustle of Commercial Street, & the spirits are well suited. Thanks Nate!

With a menu that changes weekly, if not daily, it may be difficult to guarantee these selection, but here's a list of our dining experience & feel free to adjust as needed to suit your palette.

$2 / ea wellfleet oysters your choice of cocktail sauce or orange blossom mignonette

Jack’s Abby Berliner Style Lager Framingham, MA, 3.5%, Sour Wheat Lager $7 / $4

$14 charcuterie chef's selection of hand-cured meats, house-made accompaniments, and crostini

$14 bloody mary Hop Head Vodka, house-made tomato mixture, house-made pink peppercorn tincture, celery salt rim

We sat on the front rail facing the street right next to the entrance. Good people watching. Food was mediocre at best. Not sure what the rave is about this place. The cocktails took 25 minutes to be served (it's a Beer Garden--maybe we should of ordered beer!). Our mixed green salad was overdressed and soggy, the meatballs were dry as could be, and the scallops (not inexpensive) were rubbery...with little to no flavor. To make matters worse we watched the hostess Katie for over an hour treat potential diners trying to obtain seating as if she was doing them a GREAT favor. Gatekeeping and belittling the would-be guests. Most of us have experienced this type of "velvet rope" treatment at some point, but to be right next to it and watch it go on over and over for almost 90 minutes was uncomfortable and disheartening. Why management would keep a front of the house host of this nature is hard to figure out. We will not be returning as a result of the poor food quality and the abysmal treatment of guests checking in. We tried MANY other great restaurant's in Ptown with solid food that treat you with love and respect even when they have a wait list system....

Had a great view of the street and enjoyed watching as the people went by but service was terrible. It took 20 minutes before we were even asked if we wanted to order food. we considered just getting up and leaving cash on the table several times for our drinks. The people sitting in front of us asked the waiter if they knew the status of their food (because they had been waiting for at least 40 minutes at this point) and were given a catty response. The food took 40-50 minutes to come out and was pretty cold, it had clearly had been sitting around for a bit. I ordered a ribeye and had to ask to be given a steak knife. When the waiter came back they brought our drinks simultaneously and pulled the steak knife out of their back pocket which is very unsanitary. When the check was finally brought we put down 2 Amex cards, the person that came to pick it up several minutes later. Said “we don’t accept Amex” dropping the check back on the table and immediately walked off not even giving us a chance to provide a new card making us wait another 5-10 minutes for them to come back. Food was good, ambiance was good,...

Killer spot, the attention to detail here is unmatched, from the atmosphere to the menu, you can't go wrong. we stopped by on a whim, the hostess was super friendly and managed to grab us a secluded table in the back surrounded by foliage. Lots of tasty beers and drinks available, I had to go for a masshole light lager from copper giants. Menu has a bunch of options, I'd definitely treat this place as a shareable spot, portions are good size and there's a lot of good stuff to try so get a salad and a few entrees to split and you will be more than satisfied. We went with the endive salad which was fresh and bitter and fantastic and the meatballs and chicken parm (huge) which were savory and delicious. For two people it was almost too much, next time we will probably split an entree, but you can't complain about that. Overall a fantastic experience and an even better meal, will definitely be back!

Came across this looking for lunch, which opened at one. At 1:12 it was packed, but we put our name on the waiting list, and about 45 minutes later, were able to get in. Absolutely loved the atmosphere. Bartender was a 10, and we loved the cocktails and beer. Food was awesome. A German menu for October and the food was well-thought-out, prepared, and a good proportion. My wife had the Trout, and LOVED it. Keep in mind, I used to be a trout farmer. LOL. The only problem was that it was lunch, and it was the best meal and time for that day. Kinda ruined the evening meal as we already had the best. I could spend all afternoon there, and may do so next time.

Probably the best experience we've had post COVID-19. They put a lot of thought into dining in our new normal. Contactless check in. The tables are completely separate and makes you feel very safe. All of the staff were wearing masks and were super friendly. The drinks are always amazing. We had an arugula mojito that was dynamite. Highly recommend it. The food was great. We typically aren't wowed by the entrees here but the share plates are great. We tried the ceviche, lemon zest frites, five spice wings, and salmon poke. All were spectacular. If you are thinking of going here just stop thinking and make a reservation.
