Long story short.. A) don't trust this Habit Burger to refund you money if they ask you to fill out a paper refund request form. B) leave if their store looks to be understaffed and/or there are any larger group of people waiting for food.
Unfortunately I have to post a negative review hoping this might get the attention of what used to be my favorite fast food hamburger.
In late November 2024 I stopped by and ordered a combo using the order kiosk. I noticed a large number of adults & kids seated and standing around.
After waiting 10 min I noticed some customers were asking for when their food would be ready. Apparently this very large group of families of junior athletes from a nearby competition had overloaded the Habit Burger staff that afternoon.
I settled in for a long wait hoping it would be maybe 20 min as many of these families were getting angry and eventually asking for their money back.
After around 30 ish minutes of no food, no status, a still seemingly huge line of orders in front of me, I made the call to leave and ask for a refund.
The staff was courteous and asked that I fill out a paper form to receive my money back. I left there unhappy that I'd not get my favorite combo but I was happy to be eating something soon.
Following this event I emailed the company at feedback@yum.com to request status or next steps to issue my refund. No reply to my email has come in well over 90 days. As well when I stopped by the location to see if I could get it handled I was told to come back early the next morning to try to meet a manager which I couldn't do. After a second stop by weeks later I wrote out a note to the manager asking for a call back to resolve this.
Zero communication has occurred.
Sadly it appears that Habit store #393's management team, or maybe the people behind Yum brand (www.yum.com) are not ethical or not in the business of righting wrongs that happen within...

The guy at the window had a great personality and when I said no to ketchup for the onion rings he suggested ranch which was great! So ranch I got and it was a perfect suggestion! I ordered the following and it came out in a timely manner but not quick as itās made to order and I liked that! Santa Barbara Char: I had to order this as itās served on sourdough which is my favorite way to have any sandwich and it is topped with guacamole which was very good and fresh! The burger had to take a wee bit of a ride home so just warm when I got home but it was very tasty! In my opinion, if something tastes that good when itās warm or cold then itās even wayyy better I know when itās hot! They also gave this sauce with it that was sooooo very good! Yum! It put it over the top flavor wise!! This was a burger Iād order again š Garlic Parmesan Fries: this one failed and I was so looking forward to these fries but the garlic flavor was not there and only a few sprinkles of parmesan, so they tasted basically like regular fries. š Onion Rings: These were perfect! The right amount of breading and they didnāt fall apart! Great flavor and really good dipped in the ranch! Iād order these again...

Itās unbelievable! My friend and dad know the original owner that started this restaurant, and i am seeing their hard work go to trash because of the people running it. My family is in the restaurant industry as well, you need to always represent the quality you started from day one, and your reputation goes a long way. This location needs help badly. Iāve spent thousands of dollars with The Habit, and now iām having to rethink why continue. Iām so tired of how many times they forget an item, give me wrong order, give me cold food, or give me bad attitude. They are loosing my loyalty. Donāt represent my hometown SB in the restaurant with that poor quality food and poor experience. We know quality and hospitality, and itās not here. Sorry, i donāt like to leave bad reviews, but this one matters to me, because the name started from my hometown, and itās not the same...
