Like their selections but I had the worst customer service. Asked an associate where the button was for help with a locked purse, was ignored for a few minutes cause she was having a personal conversation with another associate. When finally getting their attention, they gave me attitude and misdirected me. After asking for help again, she went in search for it, came back and said someone was coming, and then stated with attitude, "The buttons over there next to the hats fyi!" (There are no signs to direct you to it btw and why would it be next to hats which aren't locked) I thanked her and waited... for 10mins and nothing!
I went to the button and pressed and waited another 5mins or so.... nothing... cause it was broken! Wished the associate from earlier told me that and maybe radioed it in... but guess not. But luckily someone walked by and asked if I needed assistance. Thank the heavens!
Then at checkout... the line has a greeter who asked if I was interested in a TJX reward card and I nicely declined, and she was super nice about it. Then got to the register, and the associate at the register was training a new employee. I dont mind it cause I'm glad to see new people learning. She asks if I have a reward card, which I said no. She tried to pitch me and I nicely declined. She then turns and explains what happened to the trainee. Cool. Then turns back to me and tries again, and so I explain I dont feel like messing with my credit right now and am not interested. Same thing, turns and talks about it to the trainee. Cool, you're just doing your job.
Then, an item doesn't have a tag so they send for help. Whatever. It happens. Then she spends the next 10mins of me being trapped there to overly push me as I keep saying "no thanks" and politely smile at them. Doesn't stop her, even after they come back with a similar item. She just kept pushing till I grabbed my...
Read more6/9/25 3pm I had an unpleasant experience with an older, short woman working in the fitting room area. She didn’t speak fluent English, which made communication difficult, but her attitude was the real issue. First, she ignored me and another customer to hug and chat with her friend. Before me, she grabbed clothes from another customer without letting them finish speaking. When it was my turn, I explained I had only one piece of a two-piece set and was trying to find the second piece. I was hoping she could help at least see if it’s in stock. Without letting me finish, she took the piece I had and refused to let me take it into the fitting room. I mentioned I’d like to check with another employee to find the missing piece, but she responded in a rude and dismissive tone, saying “nObOdY” could help me, as if she had the final say in the entire store. She also insisted I find the other piece later, despite taking the only part I had. Like HOW AM I GONNA FIND IT AMONG OTHER CLOTHES IF YOU TOOK ONE PIECE?
When I was done, she asked how many I was buying. I said 7 which the exact amount I brought. She kept repeating the question in different ways like she didn’t believe me. Then she said, “You taking all?” with a shocked face, and let out a sarcastic “Wow” before I left. It was insulting, like she couldn’t believe I could afford them. The situation was frustrating, and her behavior felt unnecessarily rude and controlling. I would appreciate it if someone could look into this and ensure better communication and professionalism from staff...
Read moreI just came from a job so I was not looking very present full actually I was looking slightly homeless. My girlfriend was with me and after shopping a little I felt like I had more attention than normal toward me. My gf came up to me and told me one of the lady's there who is awesome BTW, and not part of the bad review, told her that they were watching us. They can watch all they want I said and as a matter of fact I had some gas from something I ate earlier and was crop dusting whoever was following me. Then it came time to check out and one of the jackets I grabbed in the clearance sections tag look like it fell off so I put it back on I thought but I guess it was the wrong tag. So they had a lady run out and price check it and she couldn't find another because it was clearance and it was a North face jacket she came back with a Hugo boss jacket not on clearance to compare it to and she said 149$ of which the original one I had on there was 56$. So after spending 280$ I still felt they thought we were up to no good in there. I just came from a job making 100$ an hour to come steal from your store ya no thanks won't be going back to the...
