I used to go to Lunita at least twice a week. The food at the restaurant was excellent, but our experience was overshadowed by poor customer service from the manager.

I went with my friends and was excited to show them this new spot. On our way out of the restaurant, after finishing our meal, we forgot to put our boxes in the trash. We were distracted, talking, and my sister even forgot her phone.

The manager went outside, yelling at us that we should have thrown away our stuff. I know we should have done it, but I had been there many times before and that never happened. It was an isolated situation.

If leaving the table clean and organized is so important to her, she should make it clear to her customers. Have a sign somewhere visible or inform them beforehand. Don’t assume customers know what you expect from them.

I believe it’s unacceptable to treat customers like that, no matter how wrong they are. There are better ways to approach people, but definitely not yelling at them or treating them like kids.

Unfortunately, this has discouraged us...

Spacious, cutely decorated Mexican restaurant in Quincy with plenty of street parking. Friendly cashier and fast service, though it was empty when I went.

Churro Bites ($11): These were made fresh, so the crunchy texture was great. However, there was something off about the taste—I think it was because it tasted bland overall. I wasn’t a fan of the custard, and the dough inside was pale and gooey, which makes me wonder if it was slightly undercooked. Also, the portion size was good in terms of what you’re paying, but it’s too much to eat in one sitting. I wish they offered a smaller portion size or even sold single sticks. Tres Leches Cake ($10): This was pretty good: soaked in milk, as it should be. It was a bit too sweet, though, so I could not finish this either. I also think it was expensive considering the Whole Foods tres leches cake is just as good but for half the price.

Overall, I don’t regret checking this place out, but I probably wouldn’t get these...

Staff is unprofessional especially the manager

Portions are incredibly small

The store hours differ from both google and those written on their door

Tonight I purchased 3 veggie burritos, 2 bags chips, 1 guacamole and was charged $65. In my opinion very expensive considering the size of the portions. I entered the same items on their website and the cost was $58. I was overcharged for “extra” corn and “extra” salsa even though I just wanted in portion. When I asked the woman at the register why the price was so high she told me that I should go to the Cheesecake Factory and pay $45 per plate.

I have noticed the “manager” on a few visits handling food in an unsafe manner.

After today’s visit I will not return. Better quality and price at Chipotle. Sad as this place has potential and the food is...

Food doesn't have authentic taste. The environment and the people looks nice and are nice but the food it isn't good. Also, the supposed Corn Tortilla they give the tacos in, is not Corn tortilla. The consistency of the tortilla is obviously flour, however, the color at first impression you think is corn but it is not! Would I recommend it to someone? Not really. Because of the nice atmosphere, I was expecting something better but it wasn't; Besides, the menu says each taco costs 4 bucks but each taco I bought was charged at $5 and fraction. It's a nice atmosphere but if food doesn't get better and clarify prices, this place won't last open much longer!
