This location is better than the one by the mall. But their workers don't seem to have a high level of comprehension.
Generally speaking when we go here it's just for an Oreo Mcflurry and we like to have it topped like a caramel sundae. We had one person make it perfectly, we even called in and praised them to their manager we were so happy. Maybe we shouldn't have because ever since then they are made sloppily and incorrectly. They are constantly mixing the caramel in despite us making sure we say "topped with caramel sauce, not mixed in", "topped like a sundae, not mixed in", "add caramel topping but don't mix it in" etc. There's obviously a lack of communication between the drive thru attendant and the person making them, a lack of comprehension on someone's part, or just a complete lack of care to make it how the customer wants it.
There was also a different time we went inside with family to have a meal. There were kiosks but no employees at them, nor behind the counter. Being tech savvy and assuming maybe those were there for us to use ourselves we walked over and started entering our order. An employee soon came over and somewhat agressively forced her way in to the kiosk. Then rudely rambled on something about "there are many kiosks but this one is mine. This is my job and I'll do it...". Very rude and annoying, I could have handled it...
Read moreI'm not sure they deserve a single star, but hey, I'll be nice. First off, this is at least the 5th or 6th time I've had a bad experience with this place. They are extremely slow, and their food is almost always cold right after you get it. I keep going back because they are just a few blocks from my house.. Tonight was the worst...and the final straw. I ordered my food and then got stuck in line for nearly 30 minutes. When I got to the window, they let me know that their system was down. The guy who was on the phone, working with tech support was quick and rude...letting me know I can wait or leave...then shut the window when I was in mid sentence. I then drove to the next window, and the woman at that window was beyond rude. She said she can't take our order. I said we already ordered almost 30 minutes ago. I asked if I could just tell them what my order was, and I would pay the amount the guy told me over the intercom. She started off that she had no way to take payment. I said, "Well I've been out here for 30 minutes stuck between cars, not knowing what was going on. Can you just give me the food free of charge for the time and trouble?" She told me to call corporate. I'm done with these unprofessional kids. I can't believe these rude kids think they deserve $15 an hour. Other places do, but...
Read more"Your time management is not my problem" Mcdonald's store manager Used app to place order because I was in a hurry. 5-minute drive to McDonald's, no food. 5 minute wait watching the store manager look up my order, confirm it was placed. no food. 2 minute wait for her to figure out how solve the problem. No food. 5 minute wait for food to finally be cooked.
When asked why she didn't start cooking the food before, she said she would not cook food that had not been paid for even though she's seen it on her screen and on my app. and that it if I had a problem it was my responsibility to complain to McDonald's corporate, and in her eyes it was my fault I did not have the extra 12 minutes to wait for her to figure in the situation out.
If a McDonald's store manager can't say "oh obviously this was some sort of malfunction Please let me get that started for you while we figure out the problem," then who can?
I was not asking for anything free. I was not asking to be given the food before my payment was processed. I was asking that my food be processed along with my payment and not be 5 minutes late for work.
Thank you McDonald's, and you're right, my time is not your problem, I hope you treat your employees better than you do...
