Eave — Restaurant in Racine

Eave is the jewel of the already fantastic Hotel Verdant. I have been here a number of times and have never been disappointed. Tori specifically has always been a very friendly, engaging and attentive bartender to me and all of the out of town friends that I have brought here. The Hotel is lucky to have her! Last night as I was there I watched her work the area by herself, quickly, personably, and professionally, as she dealt with a consistent volume of customers both inside as well as out on the patio. As busy as she was, she handled every request with a smile, patience and in a timely/friendly manner. I was impressed. You've got a good one in Tori as she is an excellent example of a welcoming first impression when people visit Eave at the Hotel Verdant!

2/1/25 I had another fun time at Eave this past Saturday evening, with family in town from Madison to celebrate birthdays. They have been here a couple of times before, and are continually impressed by what a great atmosphere this space provides. I decided to try a chocolate martini for an after dinner drink and it was fantastic! It was again impressive to watch how well Tori worked the bar while being supported by Zane during this really busy time. The place was packed and they both worked the area as a team! Tori greeted and interacted with each customer, serving them with her usual fun personality and smile. She set the tone for a fun vibe. It is clear that she has developed a great rapport with many of the patrons, that keeps them coming back! Zane also was very polite and professional while he was going about his business. As a life long resident of Racine, I am proud to show off this great space and hotel to my out of town friends and family, and I will continue to invite more to come to Hotel Verdant. They're trying to charge high prices, but haven't built out an experience that justifies it.

I wanted to host a small group for birthday appetizers and drinks. A private event carries a $5,000 fee, and even a non-private event where you grab a space while they're still open requires a $1,000 facility fee. This is above and beyond the required 22% gratuity on all food & beverage.

For a small birthday celebration, the fees were going to be more than the food & beverage. It just doesn't make sense and is very inaccessible to the community they're trying to be a part of.

Beautiful new cocktail lounge on level 5 of a classy looking boutique hotel. After a weekday visit to the Racine Art Museum, we decided to enjoy a late, but tasty lunch on the first level of Hotel Verdant. Relaxed a bit in the comfortable hotel lobby until the rooftop bar opened at 4PM. It is a beautifully designed lounge and Tori, the bartender/hostess/waitress handled everything so well. By herself!
