My wife and I are back in Pennsylvania for a family wedding and staying at Village of Villanova. We live in Tennessee now and miss our Pennsylvania food staples! We decided to get Hoagies and this was close by so we decided to try it out!! It was perfect! A little place in the neighborhood and we were greeted very friendly and treated like we were regulars! Great selection of goodies and we loaded up!!! The Italians were absolutely delicious!! Great meats and cheese the provolone was so good on the sandwich! We sure do miss this! Highly recommend!!

I've been a customer for ~15 years and stop by everytime I get a chance. John's is the quintessential family owned mom & pop shop. Deli is exclellent. Homemade food is excellent. Atmosphere and service are excellent. Prices are very fair. Lot's of unusual and tasty ancillary food items and snacks to grab while you wait. Really miss their roast pork, which I'd rank as the best in the region over all other popular steak/pork places, but their italian hoagies and hot beef & gravy are just as legendary. A+. Highly recommend.

I’ve been enjoying John’s hoagies since I was kid when my friends and I would ride our bikes there to grab lunch. It’s still the best hoagie in Wayne!

So, this shop has been around since the 70's. Today's adventure took me to John's Village Market in Wayne, PA for lunch, a great little shop with incredible food. I had the Italian with let, tom, onion, oil, hot peppers. Micro-thin cut meats, and cheese make all the difference, however, it was a very heavy sandwich, and I could only eat half. The Bread... Aversa's Bakery, delivered fresh every morning. If you know Aversa from Brigantine, or Turnersville, NJ you know how good the rolls are. The combination of roll and razor-thin meats and cheese made this one of the best I've ever had. Also, freshly made salads and other Italian goodies are available... A...

I came here as a child with my family, and I'm happy to return now that I work in the area. I love the aesthetic of stepping back in time, the moment you enter this small family owned business there is a genuine authentic warmth, and you immediately feel welcome. The sandwiches, hoagies, sides, and homemade sauces are incredible!  High quality everything - bread, meats, sauces, each item sold here is the best and made with love.  I highly recommend John's Village Market, it is a singular place most people will find is well worth coming back to again and again.  You may even be inspired to say your...
