Extremely good place. When I visited it was my first time and I wasn't paying attention to what time of day it was so I ordered a lunch special and the lady told me that lunch time was passed but she asked me was it my first time there and I told her yes so she said that for this time since it's your first time I'll let you try the lunch item that you ordered. I ordered a Bento box lunch and it was delicious. I later went back to try the spider roll that they have and I was blown away by how outstanding it was.the only issue that I say that I have with this place is the avocado that they put in some of the sushi it throws off the taste a little bit other than that it's a place well...

I went here yesterday around 1-2 in the afternoon and it was surprisingly very quiet and was tended to quickly. Its my first time ever coming to rahway sushi and I have to say the food was amazing and all tasted fresh and was served on a fancy wooden platter lol, I got shrimp tempera roll, which was crispy and was still warm with the cucumbers being cold which I love, spicy kani roll which was my first time trying and i loved, their california roll was fresh and tasted great as well. Their sides are also fresh and tasty as well, the edamame was nicely salted, seaweed salad was very flavorful. Overall am going to come here again to try...

Haruka has been my go to sushi spot for almost a year now. First step in immediately takes me back to the small mom and pop sushi places in Japan. It's instant nostalgia. The sushi is always super fresh and the cooked food is always made with home style love. The rotating specials are a nice touch when you want to switch things up.
