I went to the restaurant, but they decided to close early. I completed a mobile order at 7:20pm and was there at 7:22pm. No one answered the drive thru. No one came to the window. No one acknowledged us (there were other customers) at the front door. In fact, one customer looked in the window and saw the employees sitting at a table eating. I ended up calling the corporate office. They will issue a refund.
After 30+ mins of waiting and being on the phone, an employee walks out the door and says "May I help you? Did you want to order?". I told her it was well past the point of any help or completing an order.
I asked why they closed early and didn’t acknowledge all the customers that stopped at drive thru and in the parking lot. There weren't any signs either.
She claimed that the power went out. Rather than accuse her of lying, I reminded her of how easy it would have been to put signs on the doors, at drive thru and on the window, explaining that they had no power.
On top of that, I saw the lights on when I went around the building twice. I also saw all the lights on at the shopping center next to them, and McD's across the parking lot from them had plenty of lights and a line, as well as customers leaving their lobby.
Her response, as well as getting a refund, is exactly why I am glad that I waited and called their corporate office during my wait.
It's situations like this, that will either improve a business, after disciplinary actions, or they will become obsolete.
Oh, I forgot to mention, I work up the street from Arby's and had power the whole time, as well as Internet access. All the traffic lights were working also, and even the gas stations were still open.
At the end of the day, if you don't like what you're doing, find something better, or change the way you view the situation. Right now, you have risked losing money, customers, and possibly the business.
In due time, you'll wish you had taken the extra steps to do what was correct and...
Read moreGreat , fresh food! No complaints there. However the worker taking my order had some serious attitude towards me. I ordered a gyro, not having been to an Arby’s in a while, didn’t know there were different meats. There was a slight glare on the drive through menu so I couldn’t see everything written. She asked me which meat I wanted, which is a valid question, and I responded with “what are my options?” -no answer. Maybe she didn’t hear me? Then she says, “ma’am, what kind of meat would you like on your gyro?!” -an annoyance clearly in her voice. I responded asking again what my options were. She said, “ma’am it’s a number 4!” I said, “yes.” “What meat you like on your gyro?!“ I asked, “do you have chicken?” “No! We don’t have chicken!” “Ok, what meats do you offer?” , “ma’am it’s a number 4, you can have roast beef or turkey!” I proceeded to order the roast beef gyro, paid, got my food, and said, “thank you, have a good rest of your day!” With no answer.
She was clearly peeved, but the rudeness was unnecessary. Not everyone coming through the drive-through will know the menu by heart. I appreciate a all the food being freshly...
Read moreI recommend to take the time to go to any other Arby’s. I don’t go to this one often but when I do I rarely feel like my business is appreciated. The people working the drive thru sound like they’re bored, they never ask which fries you want so if YOU as the customer don’t tell them you’ll automatically end up with curly fries, and when you’re at the window there’s no customer service. 99% of the time the only thing they say to you is your total, hand you your food, and nothing else. No greeting, no thank you, no come back again, no upbeat anything.
Also, tonight was the third time I ordered a #1 roast beef and cheddar and got a #2 regular roast beef. How do I pay for one meal but you give me a cheaper meal? Seriously? They also never give receipts. I wouldn’t either if I gave out service like that, less chances for people to complain to corporate about it.
Again, go to a different Arby’s or go somewhere else altogether. You get barely any service and sure don’t get the food you...
