If this location wasn't near a college campus, it would be laughed out of the business. Reaching the store is impossible as the listed number directs you immediately to voicemail. The employees fulfilling the orders cannot read the "Special Instructions" field, prompted by the app which is also pushed by the company. Per Number 2, the orders tend to be incorrect, and per Number 1, there is no way to contact the store to "highlight" your requests in the Special Instructions field. If you order from the app or website, do everything you can to avoid this location. It's clear management are not concerned with the satisfaction of their customers. This clearly is a shock to the ownership, but having a non-functional phone number coupled with employees who do not pay attention to the specific requests of the customers is appalling. I reiterate that anyone ordering from Jersey Mike's should avoid this location if at all possible. JM makes great subs, and as long as you do not ask for anything "special," which gets completely ignored at this location, you are in for a treat. Do not reward the complete absence of ownership, accountability, or direction just because this store has a nice location. Every other store in the area (Edward's Mill, Peace St, etc.) has respect for the customers. Unfortunately, the Franchisees of this location could not care less,...

I used to work at Jersey Mike's, I've eaten there for over a decade. I'm not quite sure I've ever had the experience that I did today, at the Hillsborough Street location in Raleigh.
The manager, wearing the unique light blue JM shirt, not a dark blue or a red shirt that hourly employees wear, proceeded to stack up a couple sandwiches with meat, as they're supposed to be sliced, and seemed in a good mood with the two customers immediately in front of me in line.
Once he got to me however, for some reason his attitude changed. I guess asking for provolone on a white bread regular #9, and then repeating that I wanted provolone when he confirmed only if I wanted white bread afterwards was considered rude by the manager. He proceeded to put the bare minimum coverage of meat on my #9, and to top it all off, after he realized there wasn't enough Turkey on there as there should be, he literally threw the leftover turkey shavings that had accumulated under the blade of the slicer, onto my sandwich.
Disgusting. Clearly this manager doesn't care to uphold standards, or just generally cleanliness.
I was hoping I'd be able to go to the Jersey Mike's right around the corner without any issue, but this was my first time visiting the store, and it will certainly be my last.
As much as corporate rides some stores, this one needs a...
Read moreI went to this Jersey Mike’s for the first time today during my very quick lunch break. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich and was expecting it to ring up for $7.25 as it was advertised on the big menu for all to see. When I got to the register the guy charged me $8.25. When I informed him of the discrepancy he stated that his price was correct. It was a long line and I did not feel like causing a scene over a dollar but I was annoyed by the fact that after I told him and pointed to the sign he still did not change it. I usually leave a tip but instead of leaving a tip I just said to myself that the dollar he over charged me can be his tip. In addition, the sub was nasty and I always order the chicken salad. It had an after taste which I was not accustomed to. I didn’t have time to address it because I was with a group of people and we had to get back to our training. I will stick with my own Jersey Mike’s from now own and despite more trainings coming up in that area I would not go here again. The people weren’t as friendly and looked like they didn’t want to be there. I don’t remember one employee smiling. Maybe it...
