Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Ramsey

For the past month, my wife has been drinking these odd green concoctions that she gets from here. Last week, I came here to investigate what all the fuss was about -- and boy, what a pleasant surprise.

I've never much of a health nut, but I can attest that the Island Green smoothie is decadent. The mango and the banana dovetail excellently with the spinach and kale for a flavor that is just the right amount of sweet and earthy.

I think they've really carved out a great niche here by pairing fast service with healthy ingredients. It's like Starbucks meets Playa Bowls. The shakes here are varied and delicious, and unlike your typical sugar-filled shakes, these ones won't give you diabetes. And if you're not in the mood for a shake, try some small eats or any of their bowls made from real fruit, honey, and yogurt.

Such a disappointment. My kid and her friend went to grab a quick lunch today. They didn't provide their wrap and smoothie on time. These kids waited there for 30 mins. Couldn't eat since their lunch time was over. They stayed hungry till the end of the day and when they tried finally at home. The wrap tasted horrible.
