Nell's Gourmet To Go is the absolute best quality food you will find in Rapid City! Everything is so tasty, presented beautifully, homemade & fresh. It's very convenient whether you order something ahead or shop their same day specials.

The place is so charming, cozy and has the most wonderful homey vibes.

The owner Marinell is so kind & wonderful to work with. She really puts in the extra effort with every single detail and it shows. Amazing communication and customer service, which seems harder to come by these days, so it is very appreciated :)

We've been both a customer for our family & parties, as well as a client, where Marinell prepares custom meals for our business - which we all LOVE!!!!!!!!! (as you can see in my photos, the food is absolutely beautiful and tastes amazing!)

They also catered a custom taco bar for us that was a huge hit amongst our staff and clients for our holiday party. They handled the setup and provided everything for us, down to the plates, silverware & napkins. They think of everything and make sure that the pressure is taken off of you when it comes to the food! And it all tastes incredible!

I recently had the pleasure of indulging in a catered lunch by Nell's Gourmet To Go, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. From start to finish, the entire experience was top-notch. First off, the food was absolutely delicious. Each dish was bursting with flavor and made with the freshest ingredients. And let me tell you, I'm a tough critic when it comes to food, but Nell's knocked it out of the park. Beyond the outstanding cuisine, the service was equally exceptional. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. They were friendly, professional, and had a great sense of humor, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. I had high hopes for Nell’s. Their marketing is done so well and the photos of their food always look amazing. I was given a gift certificate for Christmas and was excited to try it out. I love the idea of having a home cooked meal ready to pick up so I don’t have to cook. In my opinion, the prices are way too high. I got 2 servings of mama’s lasagna and 5 cupcakes. We ended up spending $48! I was also under the impression that items would be warm and ready to eat at pick up. That was not the case for this meal. I did call ahead to reserve our food. The noodles were over cooked and the only flavor we could decipher was from the Italian sausage. The vanilla cupcakes were nice and moist but flavorless, not even a real vanilla flavor.
