Stopped in for a quick meal on a Saturday night with the family. The first thing I noticed, for being an older establishment, it was very clean. The atmosphere was chill, especially for a saturday night. They split the diner up from the bar and more formal restraunt giving you some options. We chose the diner because we had 3 little amped up kids. The service was fantastic. Not pushy, very attentive, had good suggestions and friendly with the kids. Drink refills came before running out, special drinks were made for the kids since they didn't have the strawberry lemonade. Now for the important part, the food. This was the best diner food I have had in a verrrry long time. Probably since the 90s. The burgers were large and cooked to perfection, light and fluffy. My wife ordered the blue cheese bacon burger and the flavors had a perfect balance. I ordered the prime rib sandwhich with onion rings, although the sandwhich was a little small, the prime rib was so tender and delicious and it came with enough onion rings that I still ended up nice and full. They serve breakfast all day and my 6 year old got the french toast and it was huge! She ate the whole thing (minus a couple bites I snuck). It was also cooked perfectly, not dense and I could taste all the flavors I expect from a quality french toast. The other 2 shared a burger and fries and they were happy too. The kids burger comes plain, so they know how kids like it! As for price, it's not exactly cheap, we managed to get a pretty cheap meal (about $100 for 5 people) but if you want some of their fancier dishes it can get pretty pricey but from out experience, it's worth it! Will...

I have NEVER had a server be so rude. We walked in no one greeted us so we just took a seat. A what I assume is a bus boy (very friendly) got us some menus and waters. It took about 10 minutes to see a sever. Once she took our orders she was gone for another 40 minutes while we waited for our food. When our food came out it was cold and over cooked but the server never came to check on us. My friend got the California Benedict and her yolks were completely cooked. We decided to eat our food anyways as we are not picky. I will say for us not being very picky though none of us were able to finish our meals. Food was not that good. When the server finally came by to check on us my friend mentioned the way over cooked eggs. She said it rather politely as she is a server as well for the last 10 years. The server said, "Well you didnt tell me so theres nothing I can do." My friend pointed out that we had not seen her in about 10 minutes. The server replied "Well I was right over there so you could have came and told me." Apparently she expected my friend to get up and tell her about her food. She did with this more attitude then I have ever seen from a server. The server then disappeared again after saying she would bring us our check. Eventually a new server returned and informed us that she had gone home and dropped our check for her. She also said that she had removed a drink because the server had commented that we were mad. The second server was very polite. But the damage had been done. I have heard great things about Lulus but I will not...

So I will start off and say prior to Covid I went to Lulu's multiple times, one day after covid I took my mom because I just loved their food and it was my mom's first time. That visit was a disaster, the waitress was just not a fit waitress for us in particular as she ignored us, never asked if we needed drinks, we waited 20 mins during which time she took other orders from 3 tables before I just got irritated and I asked another waitress. The food order was finally taken and we waited another 20 mins hey what choice did we have we already ordered and we aren't one to order and walk out on an order finally it came to out table nasty it was not good food at all, because of that for about 8 months I did not go there. I went today Oct 11, let me tell you the food was absolutely amazing the woman who cooked the food let me just say she is a heck of a cook and the way she paired her veggies and sautéed with the garlic omg it was good. Second the waitress we had one lady when we first came in, but she was actually getting off and another girl was actually gonna be our waitress but that first waitress awesome, the second waitress let me say she kept a smile the whole time we were in that place she was so kind to nor only us but the other tables she was handling as well, she was outstanding when it came to our food and drinks and she was definitely the kind of waitress that people enjoy. Great job Lulu's you got my business back as a patron that is for sure, keep up...

I know ya'll know somebody that a restaurant like this will remind you of. It is reminiscent of a diner in Eureka, CA called Stanton's that is now an expired icon of said city. It is full of old people and the occasional oddball (like myself) who wants to eat dinner at 5:30 p.m.. I ordered the halibut with green beans and rice pilaf. The fish was sturdy and flaky yet still moist. The green beans were flavorful and still had the crunch like they should. The rice pilaf was.. rice pilaf. It was good for someone who doesn't normally like it. The coffee was kept hot and the water came cold. Lil' Lulu (iykyk ) was my server and she was awesome! She was very friendly and attentive to all who came in. Garbed with a cartoon cat apron.... she made me feel as though I was in the right place. It's a pretty chill environment: walkers, canes, and weirdos are all welcome. Don't pass it up as it is a little tricky if you haven't been here before. P.S. Compliments to the chef and those behind the scenes.

Awesome throwback to the 70’s kind of diner, down to the brown mugs you’d find in your mom’s kitchen! I am gluten-free and ordered the prime rib “sandwich” with no bread, and salad as my side. Pro tip: The sandwich version of prime rib is the exact same 10 oz. slab you would get in the entree version...I was expecting it to be a watered-down sliced version (entree is $26.99, sandwich is $17.99). It was cooked perfectly medium rare, if not a bit bland, but nothing a little salt and pepper couldn’t fix (also comes with au jus and horseradish sauce). Service was friendly but slow. (Pictured: This is the sandwich, with fries that my bf ordered...slice of sourdough is hiding underneath! Get with salad for gluten free).
