Horrible experience! Not a nice or safe place to leave your kids! Not to mention they take your money and let your children be exposed to drug paraphernalia. I thought this was a very cool place when I brought my daughter to auditions. When the time came to get on stage she got scared and didn’t know what to do so she wouldn’t listen therefore I was called to come pick her up. They told us she could have another chance to participate the next day but that was a lie. Showed up the next day and was told to leave that my child “wasn’t ready”. Mind you I paid $300. Was promised a refund which was also a lie. Let alone the pile of drugs and needles that every kid had to walk past and see. They didn’t seem to care. I had to call rpd to come remove. Very rude and careless people they do not care about the kids it’s all about taking your money and...
Read moreMy partner and I visited Riverfront Playhouse for the first time to see Misery directed by Andrew Gibson, and we were seriously impressed!
Right when we walked in, we could tell how much thought and effort went into everything. The lounge was decorated with tons of Stephen King touches, which made it super fun to look around before the show. They also had drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), snacks, and treats! The “Number One Fan” was our favorite! Such a creative connection to the play!
The show itself completely blew us away. Amanda Marsh was incredible as Annie Wilks, she brought the character to life in a way we didn’t expect at all. Even if you haven’t read the book or seen the movie, she keeps you hooked the whole time.
We can’t wait to see what Andrew Gibson, Seth Fortuna, Amanda Marsh, Kent Bodensteiner and the Riverfront...
Read moreRiverfront Playhouse is a great, if somewhat lesser known cultural gem in our community! Their productions are always top-notch and very professional, while the ticket prices remain very reasonable. The facilities are well kept and intimate. The stage direction always endures that everyone has a good view of the action. There's really not a bad seat in the house. The staff and volunteers are very friendly and helpful. I would recommend checking out a show here if you have not! Parking isn't bad, but the lot can be a little hard to find since the playhouse is set pretty far back. Prominent event signage helped with this issue on...
