We ordered the pork laab, beef drunken noodles, and pad Thai. The food was amazing and very well seasoned. The spiciness scale is Thai-accurate, so don’t come in here thinking to flex your palate because you will leave humbled.
Service was meh. We came early afternoon and the place was not particularly busy as we were sat almost immediately - we appeared to have missed the lunch rush. The staff was eager to take our orders and we got a lot of attention in the first couple of minutes of sitting down. However, the staff was less attentive after our food came and my water glass sat empty almost the entire time we were there. It took us a few attempts to wave the staff down to get water and our check.
The restaurant is relatively small. There appears to be two separate dining areas, one to the left of the entrance where the bar was located and one to the right of the entrance behind the cashier. The place was cute and well decorated. There were a couple of AC units all the way in the back of the dining area on the right, so that was nice because it was especially hot that afternoon.
Parking is free in a very cramped lot and don’t pull in through the wrong sidewalk apron like we almost did, as you’ll likely be honked by cars behind you from the streets. You’ll get honked even if you pull into the lot from the correct side because holding up traffic seemed inevitable with how small the lot is, and don’t even think about parking a truck in this lot. We lucked out and were able to get a spot as soon as we pulled in. There was definitely Tetris at play for the patron to get out and for us to get into the spot. There was also envy in the eyes of the car behind us, and the other car already in the lot that had just missed the spot.
Definitely will be coming back to this place for food. Next time we will probably be doing takeout as the lack of parking/ difficulty in parking would deter me from dining in regularly. Lemme say again if I wasn’t clear, the food was superb. Also, if you are a bit budget-conscious, they have a combination lunch special menu that they serve daily that features a lot of other common popular Thai dishes at more wallet-friendly prices. None of the items we ordered were on that lunch menu but...
Read moreI have been going in the Thai house sense it opened. It has a nice staff and good food for what I eat. I would have rated the place a 4 star and really have never had a bad meal in the place. The beef can be a little tough and the sweet and sower chicken can be over cooked a little but it is ok. I love the curry and my wife get the sweet and sower tofu. It has always been spot on. The other day we went in because the veggie food is great and makes my veggie wife happy. The egg drop soup had zero flavor and tasted like boiled veggies. My curry was weak and watery. It was lacking substance and my wife's sweet and sour tofu did not have the good sauce on it. It was really flat. The new wood floors makes the place so loud it is no longer relaxing. The pace now looks like a dinner. It really changed the place. It has gone form a good 3 star to a 2 star dinner. What do I know. I have been all over the world and have eaten in great places. It is no wonder for the past many years San Bernardino is voted for having the worst food in the country. I am not sure what is going on but the help has not change for the good. I will not be back. I hate a loud restaurant. I walk out of half of the places because they noise level is insane. Dining is an experience. I hat clanging dishes. 50 years ago the buss person put the dishes down genteelly. Not the slam them in the container. We need to go back to trays to buss tables and take it to the kitchen quietly. The left has had a cultural way going for a century. Now we have become a society of no class or respect let alone a generation of...
Read moreUpdate: 08.17.2024 Back again, Thai House delivered an exceptional meal that left me craving more. The sticky rice with mango, basil fried rice with shrimp, and basil beef were all mouth-watering and packed with authentic flavors. Every dish was perfectly prepared and absolutely satisfying.
Highly recommend this spot for a true taste of Thailand!

It was my first time in this restaurant and I am hooked. The food here are delicious, almost to perfection. Love the fact that it's not oily and the taste would linger in your mouth. And the desert, omg! Loooooooooove it! the sticky rice was cooked fresh, still hot and just enough sweetness, the mango was sweet too. All the food that we had ordered are: had perpect presentation, looked and tasted delicious. Btw, the staff are welcoming and friendly. 🌟Definitely a place to go to. 🌟
Ordered the ff: #56 Gang Ped -red curry w/coconut milk /bamboo shoots - you can pick the spiciness of your curry, from non to super spicy.
#54 Pad see eiw - got the beef one. It was perfect, not oily and the taste delicious, in which I normally order this for my kids, but this time, I will definitely order it again, but for myself 😂.
#63 Thai Fried Rice - (beef) This fried rice was the complete meal. Love the taste. #67 Pineapple Fried Rice - (to go) was indeed delicious 😋.
Note: The price here is a little higher $ than your regular thai places, however, it's worth it. The place itself, is clean...
