A new pizza joint popped up in Redmond in a cute historical church. They have holy pizza, Batman! The remodel was done right and the ambiance is amazing. It is completely casual with indoor or outdoor seating. The outdoor patio is a great open air place to enjoy your dinner and the inside dining area is wide and spacious with beautifully vaulted ceilings. There is no table service here, you have to order at the register. The staff is helpful and patient. They have a collection of pizzas, salads, appetizers, and a full bar to choose from. Although they have a full menu of delicious offerings very few if them are gluten free, this is due to the fact that they hand roll each crust and bake in a fire oven. Understand that there is A LOT of wheat flour being used everywhere! So as of right now they can accommodate dietary restrictions but are limited as to what they can offer. They were understanding and apologetic about not having pizza for the gluten free folks, but said it is something they are working on it. So, I ordered the charcuterie board. It was very delicious, maybe a little sparse but it did have gluten free rosemary crackers. I am wrong about the table service, they will bring your order out to your table and clean up after you are finished. The ordering is done at the register. The staff was pleasant and accommodating, the service was a decent amount of time (we went at 6:00 PM on a Saturday night with no wait to order and found our seating inside very easily), the food was prepared well and served hot, and the dining area is neat and tidy. I did not use the bathrooms during this visit. It is nice to see more variety in the food offerings in Redmond. I will definitely eat here again, even though they don't offer a lot of gluten free options. Try them out, they are a refreshing change from the usual. Currently, they are only open during the weekends.

Grace and Hammer Pizza in Redmond, Oregon, is a hidden gem worth discovering. Though it might give you pause to walk up the steps of a 1912 church to order pizza, it’s great experience! Their crust achieves the delicate balance of lightness and crispiness. Toppings are a canvas for creativity. The special the day we were there was delicious. The pizza selection offers a diverse range that appeals to just about every palate, each one meticulously chosen for its quality and flavor. Though depth of staffing can be a little strained during busy times or especially when a customer at the order counter meticulously ponders their pizza, cocktail or other beverage decisions. When it’s your time you’ll receive a warm greeting and dedication to provide focused customer service. A special mention goes to their suggestion to try a new sparkling water, Over Ripe Mango Hop Water, which unexpectedly elevated the meal for someone who loves a beer with her pizza but wasn’t in the mood this time. Grace and Hammer Pizza has undoubtedly secured its place as my top choice for a tasty adventure in Redmond.

This is an amazing place and definitely worth checking out. A pizza place in a church...you gotta be kidding me! It was a wonderful space! The staff was super nice and super helpful. The menu was interesting and unique and there's some creative things to try. It took a while to get the pizza, but I'm happy to wait for quality. The pizza was very good in all respects. The crust had a good flavor and was cooked to perfection. One of my last pizza reviews was critical of overloading the pie, this one was a slight bit on the light side. If I had a suggestion it would be to make a bigger pie and be more generous on the crust edge. Places these days are getting a bit skimpy with the sizes of the pies. The crust is the least expensive part of the pie, so adding a bit more to the edge will make it seem like a better value for little to no cost. I'd definitely recommend giving this place a try...it's a wonderful space with some good pies.

The setting is exceptional but that's where the positives end. The food is not worth the cost in quantity or quality. The various pizzas attempt to be fancy but there isn't enough flavor for them to fly. The portions are small, like 5 crackers included with a charcuterie board or paper thin 12 inch pizzas with sparse toppings. The manner they choose to welcome and sit guests is ridiculous and awkward. You arrive with a party of 7 and they say " grab your own menu and come over to the register to be seated" so you do that and then at the register they give you a stand with a number (so the server can find you) and tell you to find your own table.... so if there is a line of people waiting to order food at the register you may be waiting in that line forever just to be granted permission to pick an open table. They'll bring your food to the table but they won't bring you your drinks, those just sit up at the bar waiting for you to notice that they're ready and go get them yourself. It's such an unorthodox system you'd expect there to be something spectacular to round out the experience but there just isn't. The bread pudding was okay I guess, except the...
