A couple days ago, a very kind and beautiful woman parks in the Leavenworth District of San Francisco and starts handing out boxes and boxes of donuts to the homeless and poor residents here, causing a commotion where people are literally running in a certain direction that I chose to follow. I was fortunate to have gotten there in the nick of time and even handed a few of my own to individuals who had just missed out. I wanted to thank you on everyone's behalf for not only the wonderfully tasty donuts but kindness and generosity on your actions, for time is ultimately the most valuable thing. Time that you and others had taken to make them and drive all the way here, during the worst time of day lol, and hand them out. Also, thanks to the the nameless others that do this as well, handing out items of need, without news crews or cameras or the public for appreciation, giving without the expectation...

Breakfast of Champions! My younger brother Danny and I used to deliver newspapers for the SF Examiner and SF Chronicle. Sundays were the worst because we would wake up around 5am to fold and put rubberbands around the papers before delivering them. Around 8 am, our "DM", Mike, would treat us to a small carton of orange juice and a donut of our choosing at Donut Time on Noriega St.

I love Chinese pastries or goodies from B. Patisserie for breakfast. But, once in a while, I just want a small carton of oj and a 🍩! Chuck's is a RWC institution and make delicious donuts including their Ube glazed and especially their Ube cake w/ matcha frosting and pistachios😋 Never too much ube! Reasonable prices. Staff wearing masks and hand sanitizers available. Small parking...

First time at shop on Monday July 7 at 5:40 am. Figured I’d stop and try their donuts bout 4 donuts 1 plane old fashion, 2 chocolate glaze, and 1 plane glazed. Went to pay and was told $11.00 dollars for 4 donuts. I was taking out my card when the guy said only cash and Venmo. Had to go get some change out of my car. Once I left took a bite of the old fashion. I spit it out on a napkin, it tasted very greasy and old. My wife took a bite of her chocolate glaze and did the same stating it was awful. I guess they might not be putting out their fresh and selling yesterday’s product instead. Donuts not very good and the price is high for a donut. Won’t be back and I don’t recommend this place should have gone up the street to Dunkin’...

I drove over 35 minutes to Chuck's from San Jose, with the family. Normally, we wouldn't drive so far for donuts. But, in this case, the family was craving for really yummy and unique flavors. So the journey to Redwood City took us to our favorite donut shop in the Bay Area. I met Lori, the owner, as well as another female employee. Both were super friendly, but Lori was so awesome! She was the kindest and friendliest donut shop owner we've ever met. She definitly made the trip to RWC bearable and we won't forget her kindness. BTW, their donuts are so dang yummy, especially if you're lucky enough to get them fresh. We will continue to visit this donut shop!

Not much to say for the inside, as money is obviously not put back into the business aesthetics; however, there are several tables inside for seating. And despite the heavy emphasis on lotto there, let me tell you about the donuts! There was PLENTY of variety, and I went in the afternoon. They also were delicious. I would take someone here in the future for donut options. Vegan and gluten-free were also available for the guests with these requirements. Parking lot hit and miss if space is available.
