Sammy's Kitchen — Restaurant in Rehoboth Beach

The wait staff is very sweet and do a great job. However, the cook, NOT GOOD at all! I ordered an egg white omelet with spinach and feta with rye toast. When the waitress brought it out I was excited to eat because the presentation was beautiful. But once I had my first bite the egg whites were extremely runny and there was no feta in sight. I told the waitress and she said she will take it back and have them add the feta. She brought it back saying they made a new omelet. I thanked her and I noticed it was just the same omelet with feta sprinkled on top. If it was a new omelet it was just as runny as the previous one. By the way they also didn't give me rye bread, they gave me pumperknickle instead. I wasn't able to eat any of my breakfast 😕 my husband ordered the eggs with sausage biscuits and the biscuits were extremely hard. He tried using the fork and knife to cut the biscuits and it was really hard to cut when he finally got to cut the biscuit broke off and when he bit down they crunched like he was eating gravel! I felt bad for our waitress she was so sweet and tried to be helpful. We were looking for a place to return to with our family and friends when we move here and this is definitely not going to be our place!!! You need a better cook, don't use week old biscuits and if you don't know how to make a simple omelet, I don't know what to say....

Food is decent but the service was not good. I ordered a full eggs benedict breakfast. When I asked for a half order of waffles on the side I was told they could not give me children's size. Even though I ordered a full adult breakfast they said they could not but said they have half order French toast. Fine. At the time there were maybe 6 full tables and three servers working yet I saw the French toast sitting under the lamp for 10 minutes. When I got my breakfast it was cold. The hollandaise sauce was cold as well as the FT and my husband's breakfast but we only sent back the benedict. When the server returned with it warmed up she said it was cold because it had lump crab and it's supposed to be serves cold. I didn't appreciate the chef telling me that I don't know when food sat too long. They did warm up the sauce and it was tasty but by then the whole experience was a loss. My husband mentioned something to the owner when leaving but he could only give lip service and the same comment as the chef. No offer to refund anything or get it right next time. We won't...

Placed conveniently next to Brighton Suites, Sammy's Kitchen is the best breakfast place in Rehoboth. We came here with our hopes high after making a tremendous mistake by eating at Royal Treat down the street. We walked in feeling immediately at home. The waitresses were so friendly and outgoing! They were the best waitresses I've met. Talking to them makes me feel like I've known them my whole life, that's how amazing they were! The kids were very happy with the chocolate chip funny face pancakes and the chicken tenders, the eggs were amazing, and the hot chocolates and coffees are the best in the whole city. We were so happy here we got some really cute souvenir shirts to take home. I love this place! They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and are open 24 hours a day. It isn't always filled up, but it just depends on time of day. Don't let that pull you away. Next time I'm in town, This will be my first stop! I suggest you come here, I love it SO MUCH!...
