Crazy D's Hot Chicken — Restaurant in Reno

I haven’t even left the building and I’m writing this review. I split the tender/slider combo with my son and had a mac and cheese on the side. The chicken is perfectly seasoned with a crispy crust and moist chicken breast inside. I happen to hate chicken breast because I find it dry and flavorless, but I couldn’t stop eating this. The slider comes with coleslaw and sauce, and it’s a delicious combo. The fries are crispy but also soft, and again the seasoning is perfect. I always salt my ketchup when eating fries but I didn’t need to do that. Not that the fries are overly salty, but that whatever seasoning mix they’re using us doing the job perfectly. First and last. Got the combo #3 that come with 1 slider, 1 tender, fries, and their sauce. I added a can of soda, which was $2+, totaling to almost $20, which was not worth the price, in my opinion. This place is overpriced. This has to be the worst chicken tenders I have ever tried. It had a crunch to it, but it was too hard to bite into , almost like the texture of it being overcooked and stale at the same time. Chicken had no flavor even with all that thick batter on it. The crunch and crispyness are not like KFC, POPEYES, and RAISING CANE. it tasted bland and stale. spicy level I got on it was hot, and it was nowhere near hot. Frank's red hot is even hotter....

Went to get food tonight and normally I am happy with service and food but tonight was very disappointing. We ordered our food and sat there for 30 minutes, watched 3 other groups get their food before us before we finally asked about our order. The guy I brought up that we’d been waiting 30 minutes for our food and what was taking so long all he did was look at our receipt and then grab the bag of food and hand it to me. No sorry for the wait or anything.. by the time we got our food to eat it was cold and we live 5 minutes down the road. The drive normally does not make our food as cold as it was.
