OK I stopped here twice on the way to California and on the way back on the way back Iāve got to tell you that I was just frustrated that the person that was helping me decided that he needed to print and have me sign my receipt now I have never had to do this and Iāve ordered probably 100 sandwiches this year in different locations. But this particular employee wanted me to leave him a tip so I asked him why do I need to sign I always use Apple Pay and just tap and he told me well it helps for tips. I looked right at him and I said do you want me to leave you a tip? So I left him a dollar tip but let me just say this I feel like if youāre taking an order you donāt deserve a tip if you are serving me bringing me food and helping me have an enjoyable dining experience you deserve a tip but for taking an order you donāt deserve a tip and I really donāt appreciate that this individual would print a copy so that I could sign it and he was requesting a tip thatās tacky itās just not the way you do it and itās the first time that itās happened to me over a number of locations and trips and sandwiches across the country at this chain. I would strongly encourage the franchise owner to put an end to this...

I've been a fan of Jimmy John's for a long time but the last 5 visits have been terrible. Either the sandwiches are basically bread without toppings, they're soggy with an insane amount of sauce or missing additions that were ordered. This last visit was so awful that I actually called and told her about the order issues. She was very kind and gave me a credit. I came tonight to use the credit and it was worse than ever before. The bread was burnt and overcame the ingredients easily. The way that I couldn't taste the meats and Italian oil stuff because the bread was so hard and burnt was terrible. The sandwiches havenāt been being made properly (ignoring customization parameters). I just placed an order at 2 o clock today and the sandwich didnāt even leave the store for 30 minutes. It then took another thirty minutes to arrive (I live about 5 blocks away off of Evanās). A hour for a freaky fast sandwich shop less than 2 mins away from me? The sandwich again wasnāt made as placed on the app (ingredients etc), they forgot the chips I paid for, there was no straw for the beverage. When I called to rectify the situation, I got an unsympathetic, āweāll credit your account 2 dollarsā. Bang up customer serviceā¦Iāve been ordering from you guys for almost 7 years at this point.
