KFC — Restaurant in Reno

After a bad experience here last week I wanted to give this place another chance as the manager at the time of our last visit acknowledged the mistakes in our order and offered a free drink and side to replace the ones we didn’t get. I was told we can get them the next time we came in. Went through the Drive-Thru today, to redeem the free drink and side as well as a chicken sandwich, fries and a bowl combo. When we ordered at the box we were told we could choose any free side so we got Mac and cheese. I ordered the bowl spicy last week with 0 issues and today I was told they don’t do that anymore though after checking the app it’s still there. My boyfriend ordered the chicken sandwich with fries and got the free Mac and drink. Upon checking the bag we realized that there was no max and cheese but two sets of fries when we asked they said we could only redeem free fries, which was no issue but it was not communicated and if it had been we would have switched the fries we paid for to Mac and cheese but it was not communicated to us. We asked the person at the window (who was extra kind the entire time) he said he’d ask a manager the manager approved it and brought the max and cheese, she threw it in the bag with an attitude and said next time we had to get the free fries then stormed off. Very rude and unprofessional, careless behavior from a “manager” Again none of this was communicated from the beginning and could have easily been solved if they communicated. I also received my bowl which had way too much gravy and only 4 nuggets of chicken, this had also happened last week when I received the spicy bowl- I’ve ordered this bowl for years now and I’ve never had the proportions be so off until I came to this location. The “manager” was very rude and her behavior was not acceptable in any form of business. I will say the guy who took our order and at the window was very nice and understanding he did though seem slightly stressed or overwhelmed, maybe from his manager who had just the absolute worst attitude I’ve seen. Worst customer service I've ever experienced any KFC throughout the country. I never see this particular KFC on West 5th Street busy at all I went there and late afternoon nobody in the Drive-Thru doors are locked I sit at the call box waiting for somebody to answer the drive-thru waited there for about 3 or 4 minutes. Since nobody answered the call box I went to the drive-up window waited there another minute for somebody to acknowledge my existence they proceeded to ignore me while I was in the Drive-Thru when I did try to order after being lectured that they didn't know I was in the Drive- through and that I should have waited at the speaker box they didn't have my 10-piece chicken. I told the manager working at night that it would be more than happy to wait for them to cook more chicken she wanted to substitute smaller pieces of chicken for the original order of 10 pieces which was not what I wanted but okay by the time I did get the chicken it was very dry the sides were not very fresh the gravy had dried up gravy on the edges on the outside of...

I haven't had such good customer service like; speaking courteously on both ends can be trying when very busy, able to confirm your order making sure it is as ordered, working quickly to get that order to you in a timely fashion, multitasking as listening to one ordering, taking your payment, being asked a question about order to get ready for next customer is and was impressive. High 5 to all workers working as a team to include prep, safety, cleanliness, and good old fashioned business sense. Individual hard work makes good influence of building a team and working towards a goal on all ends. You made me Smile at a time more difficult to accept, and that gosh good smelling chicken. I love KFC food, now I take time to recognize all people of all jobs how just having the right positive business attitude can turn into a life time business along with quality.
