Townsite Motel — Hotel in Reno

My heart isstill smiling & my physical body/mind FINALLY FEEL SAFE! I reflect on my exceptional stay at Townsite Motel, thanks to the incredible hospitality of Manager Holly. As a visually impaired traveler, I often face unique challenges, but Holly's kindness, patience, and dedication made all the difference. Blind humans can indeed hear and feel even more after losing vision Holly has a huge heart and I felt it when she hugged me. 🤗

From the moment I checked in, I felt seen and supported. Holly took the time to ensure my room met my needs, and her attention to detail was impressive. Even letting me practice with the lock on door, I kike independence one day I will be needing a caretaker.. The room is so cozy, clean!!, and perfectly equipped with a microwave and refrigerator - a delightful surprise that felt like a blessing because I was eyeballing the very same set months ago at a store in Reno.

What struck me most about Holly was her genuine warmth and compassion that Reno lacks tremendously. Amidst her busy schedule, she made me feel like I was the only guest that mattered. My time is important too and Holly respected me enough to keep time management perfect.. Her selflessness and work ethic are truly inspiring, and I admire her commitment to her family, her job, and her future goals.

My stay at Townsite Motel was more than just a comfortable place to rest; it was a reminder that there are still good people in this world who genuinely care. Holly is one of those special individuals, and I feel grateful to have met her. Steve & a kind gentleman I couldn't see ofc helped log on to internet, also hard for blind peeps. Thank you.

DO NOT LET THE DAYTIME PICTURES FOOL YOU!!! We arrived around 8-9pm and I thought I had pulled up to skid row!!! Besides the questionable individuals hanging around outside, in and out of their cars, I was worried about my car being broken into. The cars on both sides of me were packed to the gills with stuff, as if they were living out of both the motel and their cars... Checked into the room and it wasn't much better. The bed was made but wasn't clean. There was small, black debris all over the sheets and pillows. The bathroom door didn't even close! There was a window AC unit that was haphazardly placed in the window and the gaps were plugged with towels! We weren't even in the room for 15 minutes before I booked another RSVP at another place!!! You couldn't pay me to stay here, and I gladly forfeited the two-nights fee just to get the hell...

The rooms are very tiny and dated. Efficeny size. No on site laundry dry, no elevators. The hotel has 13 rooms only. I've had some issues here, but nothing that could not be remedied, if the uppers were on it. I got a 5 day pay or quit but I'm glad I quit that place. I'm now banned from all the owner's property. I did get a brand new furnace, that's for a bathroom. Townsite has a problem with bed bugs! I've been told that if I don't shut up about how awful the owner property is I'd be sued for slander. But let me say this. I've lived here. I've the pics of what I lived with and the prop mngrs do bare minimum. I do not recommend this place to...
