Dropped by on a Saturday afternoon around 2pm, the place was very empty and at one point we were the only table with several people at the bar.
Service: 0/5 stars, what I can only imagine was the manager was unaware that she was in my direct eye sight and I saw her roll her eyes at a customer because she walked in and sat herself. While I understand that can be frustrating letâs be aware that other customers can see you. Our waitress started off great and just got progressively worst. We ordered the meatballs and forgot we wanted bread. When the meatballs came we asked if we could get a bread basket. She replied with âit will just take a few minutes because I have to go cut itâ we were fine with it because it was our bad in forgetting to order. We waited 10 min, mind you with a very empty restaurant to only receive 3 slices of bread that were cold. Sis, it donât add up. Anything we asked her demeanor was as if we were an inconvenience.
Food: 3/5 stars, it wasnât terrible and it wasnât the best. We had the wood fired octopus, overly salted imo but still good. Meatballs were also pretty tasty. We got the pesto pizza and the pesto flavor wasnât really coming through for me. It all just blended together and over powered by the cheese. Desserts 0/5 stars, we got the affogato and chocolate cake. The affogato to coffee ratio was off, too much coffee and 2 small scoops of ice cream which led to the ice cream melting quickly. The lava cake to ice cream ratio was off, too much cake and not enough ice cream.
All in all I can take bad food but not bad customer service especially when the...
Read moreLoud and expensive are the words I would use to describe Liberty. I've come in very irregularly for the last 4 years and each time I tell myself to never do it again.
This entire place feels, sounds, and tastes like the modern yuppy experience of going to a Round Table Pizza after a local little league tournament, complete with an army of annoying children left to their own devices by their equally attentive parents.
The servers are the best part of the experience. Their knowing eyes tell you they're under appreciated but greatful for the high turnaround, high cost per item menu, but would rather be in a less loud and chaotic atmosphere.
Who can blame them. There's no sound dampening, outside a handful of booths and ours bodies. I've been in this place when a soccer team of 10 year olds came in. My ears still bleed when I drive by a soccer goal.
I've ordered a variety of food from the menu over the years. It all tastes fine, but nothing tastes so good to even remotely warrant the cost. I spent $20 on a calzone to go, and when I got home, the 18' pizza box contained a maybe 8" calzone that was mostly crust and bell peppers. That's been pretty much every dining experience over had at liberty. Expensive and better elsewhere for less.
Overall, this place is fine if you're hard up, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who actually enjoys the food they're eating rather than yelling at over one another over...
Read moreIf I could give this place 6/5 stars, I would. The food was absolutely scrumptious. The bread and olive oil/ balsamic combo that was brought to the table was delicious. My party decided to order appetizers before our meal. We got the warm beet salad, fondue, and the citrus olives. I would recommend all of these options. For dinner, I shared a Peach Pie pizza and a Garden Veggie pizza with my mom. We enjoyed both. If you don't like a lot of arugula, tell them to leave it off. It came with a lot, which is not a bad thing, I just wanted to make a note of it. My dad got the bison ribs and said they were delicious. They come with brussel sprouts, and those were wonderful as well. I was so enticed by the pizza that I forgot to take a picture, but I have included pics of the appetizers below. I got a Cereal Milk Créme Brûlée for desert. It was very yummy. I will try the cast iron chocolate...
