This business is located just down the street from the Riverside Theater, Reno Tahoe Visitor Center and Puzzle Room.
The owner seated us right away at a small two person booth just around the corner as you enter the restaurant. So nice to be able to go out and enjoy dinner with your best friend.
My friend and I recently had dinner here together. We parked inside the Parking Gallery on corner of Sierra and First above the Silver Peak Grill and Taproom. If we had not already had our parking ticket validated I think they would have.
My friend and I chose to share a myriad of items. We both got Boba drinks She got strawberry and I got mango. I think I like the popping Boba best. We got Chicken Satay with peanut sauce, Shrimp spring rolls and Shrimp pad Thai. These three items were way to much for the two of us and there were a lot of leftovers.
The Chicken Satay was tender and easy to twist off the skewer. I really wish they had given us chopsticks. We should have asked. The satay was good with a mix of the peanut sauce and some of the Chinese garlic chili sauce. The spring rolls were very flavorful and savory. I especially like the presentation of the rolls as you could see the shrimp just under the rice paper. The shrimp were nice sized and bulging under the rice wrapper. Something about the presentation made you want to devour it. This too had a nice an luscious and exotic tasting peanut sauce. The Shrimp pad Thai was large and enjoyable and tasty. The satay was accompanied by a light and tasty cucumber salad. I really wish I had paid more attention to our waitress as she told us the recipe.
The service was cordial, kind and friendly. We talked about different countries and I learned that Ka Pun Ka in Thai means Thank You. I have a tradition of learning please and thank you when we go to a different restaurant. Like saying please and thank you if you go to an Italian, Mexican or Chinese. I did learn how to say thank you in Cantonese but I have...

Read moreI couldn't let this pass and had to write a review. My friend who is the nicest person in the world ordered a medium hot dish and took a bite and it was too spicy hot, he ate 2 large spoonfuls of rice to calm down his mouth (we have been here before and know we could eat a medium hot they over spiced it) and we asked nicely if we could order some spring rolls instead and remove the spicy hot dish. The waitress was super nice removed the dish and had an order of spring rolls coming. At the end of the meal when we were about to pay we notice that the spicy dish was on our tab, we came up and asked if there was a mistake made since we returned the dish. The owner out of nowhere screams out to the restaurant and I qoute" you cheating, you took a bite" . I was so perplexed and livid. I have never had an owner much less a waitress act this way. He continued to fight us and telling us that the dish was empty when returned. We paid with no tip and left. Our bill was $80 we would have left a $20 tip, I guess his $8 dish and ego were to big for that. One thing I hate is bad...
