People need to go easy on the employees, especially during a pandemic. They have to wear masks and gloves (which they always do). Food is always fresh no matter what, they don’t leave the food sitting before they serve it to customers. Drinks and food are made as the instructions and customer requests as seen on the order. Often times workers will slip up on something that may seem major through the eyes of a customer, but in reality with a calm and patient mindset is but an honest mistake. The employees may get orders wrong but need to understand that the workers are tired, underpaid, multitasking, and will often times are 1 to almost 3 hrs overdue for a break from dealing with customers who come through the drive-thru, with not even a smile or regard for the human being that is behind the counter, taking other people’s orders while at the same time (Keyword) TRYING to make sure every customer gets the correct order the way they wanted it in the first place. Just today I over heard a customer complain about the all day breakfast not being available at 3pm. As the customer attempted to reverse out of the drive-thru they proceeded to order something else. They were already finished ordering before I could, as I pull up behind this fellow in front of me now, he attempted to reach inside and take money from the donation box at the payout window (and I can here this guy in front of me telling the employee that he “thought it was a take one, leave one type of thing” when it clearly says it is for charity). The employee then tries to remove the rude customer’s hand from the box and begin to argue for a good minute. The customer then pays for their order and throws the change back at the employee. It is actions and behaviors like these that makes me lose faith in humanity, that it has come to a point to where customers will continue to feel entitled at fast food restaurants (and at a McDonald’s of all places) imagine coming to work everyday where you have a high chance of being yelled at by the customer you just tried to help and who knows nothing of what goes on with your life and work. Have some common courtesy, yes it is the staff’s job to keep the customers happy. But it can be very difficult to do so when you come to any restaurant with an attitude so salty you need to order fries with your saltiness.
10/10 hard working staff and service, and always wearing gloves and masks during...
Read moreI live close by and go to McDonald's often different locations around Seattle and this one is the worst.
I went in Father's Day afternoon 4:00. Place was dirty. food came quickly, but everything was cold. Fries were old. Nuggets brownish from dirty oil.
I didn't want to complain and wait another 10 minutes for them to make everything again. They're so slow here... As I was just trying to feed my son quickly.
Went in again the day before 4th of July. Waited 20 minutes... 3 to 5 minutes is about how long it should take to get your food, I worked at McDonald's. It takes 55 seconds to make a cheeseburger,
20 minutes is unacceptable. I didn't get an apology, or any kind of coupon or just anything. In fact it took so long my order disappeared from the mobile order.
And they didn't even have the decency to give me fresh food then received old fries. Luckily the McDouble was normal.
And when you have mobile order you have to jump through hoops to complain. It's not easy like a classic paper receipt.
Waiting 20 minutes has to be a mismanagement of the restaurant.
I was waiting in the lobby with 10 other people who had already placed their order mobile. Why is it 10 to a 20 minute wait when you're not even taking anyone's order inside, they're all mobile orders already placed. All you have to do is make the food.
I don't know if they were clearing out the drive-thru first or not using mobile ordering correctly.
And the irony is I picked the most simple thing on the menu so I could leave quickly. The McDouble value meal. Small fries. Small drink, four nuggets.
But those were just the two worst days, typically you're waiting 10 minutes at this location, drive further to another location, it's worth not being...

Con flicting signage vs order screen option to dine in; atop of a supervisor who told me where to seat, and within 15 minutes, came back and said seating had stopped an hour prior- made for awkward scenario where conflict of abiding/ non adherence by confusion made for additional, unnecessary stress. Upon consideration and examination, the entrance was marked as stating no indoor dining. The screen and cashier/ supervisor Conflicted. My pain level and need to eat added to the situation. Upon exit, an oddly placed and very plain lettered (normally a warning or notice has a "Pop" factor to alert persons) sign to the right by 30 ft was placed where ads usually sit/ are designated- listing hours of seating from an hour until 2 pm/ 1400hrs. My vision before eating and light sensitivity made such sign not noticed/ noticeable, and the con flicting signage otherwise made for confusion and unneeded discomfort when the matter was unapologetically fueled by both inability to get a clear first glance/ non conflicting (as well as being seated by the aggrieved employee)- message; as well as being treated as a non willingly compliant customer.
