Worker was beyond disrespectful, told us a total and we asked to see it on the screen. He was like how am I supposed to do that, we asked to take a picture and he did so. Showed us a completely different total than what he said prior to us asking so we just walked out ( He basically was trying to scam us by making us pay 2x more) . Mind you, he barely added any toppings we had to ask for more TWICEEEE and when he went to grab it he had a nasty and rude demeanor. Save your time, dignity, MONEY and don’t come here.
I’d also like to add, we went to the other subway down the street and our total was HALF the price he initially told us.. Unfortunately they weren’t open so we had to settle with this and didn’t even get to eat here due to the worker being outrageous. Smh!!!!
Edit to reply to the owner:
What you just said confirmed everything that happened. Yes we walked out due to the lack of customer service provided and the felt of your worker scamming us. Yes we came in 15 minutes before you guys closed, what does that have to do with anything? I know what time I came in. Yes he did show us the price on the register which I stated in my original review, at first he was extremely hesitant prior to me asking him to take a picture. If you clearly looked at the video footage you can see myself and my brother confused and even pointed out the error WHEN IT HAPPENED. Your worker was speechless and didn't have anything to say, he knew what he did. You replying to my review confirming that my review is about, What exactly are you saying to justify what happened? Also, yes your worker did tell us a set price and then when we asked to see it was lower than what he said. Clearly he took things off to give us a lower price after we asked to see the POS system. Also, no. The prices are WAYYYY different compared to other ones, as stated in other reviews as well. It’s not just me saying this. As an owner you need to do better and rethink how to run your business. Again, this is the worst subway I’ve...
Read moreFirst, the food was great and some of the freshest I have had at a subway in years.
The issue arose after I completed my sandwich and decided to try a footlong sidekick I had seen advertised. Approaching the counter to order, I was charged a higher price than expected. When I questioned this discrepancy, they directed me to the menu board, which showed higher prices. Frustrated, I insisted they honor the promotional price. After some back and forth, they eventually adjusted the cost to match the advertised rate.
It's important for the owner to know that in Washington state, it's illegal to charge more than the advertised price (see PCWE19.94.390). which starts with "Price not to be misleading, deceiving, misrepresented—Fractions—Examination procedure standard—Department may revise—Electronic scanner screen visibility. (1) Whenever any commodity or service is sold, or is offered, exposed, or advertised for sale, by weight, measure, or count, the price shall not be misrepresented, nor shall the price be represented in any manner calculated or tending to mislead or deceive an actual or prospective purchaser. Whenever an advertised, posted or labeled price per unit of weight, measure, or count includes a fraction of a cent, all elements of the fraction shall be prominently displayed and the numeral or numerals expressing the fraction shall be immediately adjacent to, of the same general design and style as, and at least one-half the height and one-half the width of the numerals representing the whole cents."
Additionally, I felt uneasy observing that among the two employees present, the young woman seemed to be doing all the work while the young man idly stood by, appearing irritated by my presence...
Read moreWow. My husband and I just had the worst Subway Experience ever at this location. The website and window signage said the shop closed at 10PM-- we went inside at 8:35PM. The woman had put lids on all the items and was wiping down the boards. The moment we walked in the Spanish Employee named Anna screamed at us and said. "WE ARE CLOSED! WE CLOSE BETWEEN 8PM-8:30PM due to COVID!" I got confused and was about to leave but then she said that she would take our orders still. I was very appreciative however it just went downhill from there. She kept barking at us asking us and asking us what we wanted and how many sandwiches we were getting. Whenever we asked for something she was very dismissive and pushy. She had an extremely terrible attitude. My husband and I are also both essential workers in Healthcare and Shipping and we did not work 10+ hour day to get screamed at while ordering food after a long day. If you are supposed to close early then you need to write a sign on the door saying so. Do not take it out on customers that did not know. Regardless of how tired or short staffed you are-- you should do your job with pride otherwise you should not be working at your job. This employee needs to be terminated. She is bad for the brand. This was very traumatizing for us. We stayed polite the entire time and say "thank you" constantly and she still was very mean to us. This is very...
