Usually Junes place is absolutely amazing which is why is pains me to write this review, Iâm in Junes place multiple times a week, and June specifically is always amazing and most of the staff, unfortunately Iâve noticed a recent new staff member ( unfortunately I donât know her name, sheâs older with tattoos) has been super rude to customers and being very passive aggressive. Iâve also noticed the pattern that she only does this when June isnât around. This morning specifically was very hard to watch, Monday 7/21/25 between 9-10 they were pretty busy and that one staff member mentioned above was having a bad day and definitely letting the customers know it, she was talking bad about customers, huffing and puffing her breath real loud, rolling her eyes, shutting doors much harder then she needs to just to make a point, talking bad about other people who work there â bec no one has responded to her message and sheâs going to loose itâ as I am writing this June has stepped in her attitude has seemed to do a 180. I totally understand it gets busy and stressful, but thatâs the job, again everyone else at Junes place is amazing and I wish I could just write a review on this one staff member, but when your talking down on customers, especially the ones who canât stand up for themselves, Iâm going to...
Read moreIt's hard to overstate how much I love June's place. I was a regular here for a little over a year before moving away. The staff do it right- from the coffee itself to the atmosphere to the customer service, they will take good care of you.
The coffee and tea are always delicious, but the staff is always interested in knowing if it hit the mark and want to get it right. The posted menu offers a wide variety, but there are also creative and tasty seasonal drinks. If that isn't enough, the staff are passionate and knowledgeable and have no issue getting incredibly custom tailored on your drink. Flavors, coffee strength, sweetness, and dairy choices are just a few of the elements you can adjust, being as granular as you'd like. June's signature line may be, "take a sip and tell me how you like it" as she hands you your unique coffee permuation.
June is a beam of light in Rexburg and her family runs the shop with high standards and it shows.
The world could do with a little more of what June's place has to offer. It can't be beat- not just in Rexburg, anywhere. Whether you are heading through to Yellowstone, or are a lifelong resident, I can't encourage...
Read moreJuneâs Coffee Shop is an absolute must every time weâre in Idaho! We were excited to check out the new location, and while parking can be a bit of a hassle, the overall upgrade is worth it. From the moment you walk in, youâre greeted with warmth, every employee we encountered across multiple visits was kind, patient, and genuinely friendly.
The new space has plenty of seating, a kid-friendly play area, and even an ice cream counter, which was a huge hit with our little ones! Itâs the perfect spot to relax, catch up with friends, or let the kids unwind while enjoying great coffee and treats.
One thing to note: no matter the time of day or whether it was the new or old location, service can be on the slower side. So if youâre in a rush, be prepared for a bit of a wait. That said, the wait is absolutely worth it. The quality of everything weâve tried, from the espresso and brewed coffee to the sandwiches, pastries, and ice cream, is outstanding, especially for the price.
We love supporting local, and Juneâs makes it easy with their charm, consistency, and quality. Definitely donât miss out...
