Update I went here today, July 30 at 12:30 PM. The restaurant was jampacked which I thought was a good sign. However, I got in within a few minutes was taken into a booth and felt the lack of air conditioning immediately I ordered the classic eggs Benedict and a water with lemon, I could only eat half of my plate because I started to feel nauseous. I got up from the table and went to the restroom where I proceeded to throw up for the next 17 minutes when I went to check out the gal asked me was everything OK and I said no I just puked my entire food up. Something is not right then printed And said see you next time. This was absolutely appalling to me. I believe I shouldn’t have had to pay for any of my food considering that I threw it out in the bathroom for 17 minutes. I don’t know how you have a restaurant in Texas it’s 99° out and have no air conditioning , I will never return to this place again !
I have been anticipating the opening of this restaurant for a long time I went in today was really high hopes! I mention several things to the waiter and asked him if they were good and he said no not really so I decided to go with a BLT - I asked for white toast no butter and a sub the bacon with turkey bacon well the toast came drenched in butter it was missing the Friday that I asked for so I just cut it off I need it like a salad and bread in addition it said it came with fries I told the gentleman that I cannot have dried herbs and I asked if I could send it for a salad he said I would have to pay extra what I said I didn’t mind I asked for thousand island blue cheese dressing when it came in had a drizzle of thousand Island dressing I needed to request the blue cheese which was fine he brought it when I mentioned to the waiter that someone messed up he said no ma’am I forgot to put it in. Just an overall disappointing experience I...
Read moreI ordered a take out order of two pancakes, classic Benedict eggs, and chicken chilaquiles and spent a total of $47.22. Picked up my order and when I got home there was one dish missing, the chilaquiles being the most expensive one at $18. I called them back to let them know and they didn’t even know what my order was, they claimed they couldn’t look at it because it was placed online. They said they would make the dish for me to go pick up again after I already drove 15 minutes there and back, so I asked if a discount could be made since now I would be driving a total of 1 hour and they said no, also couldn’t give me a refund on the dish due to it being an online order. They proceded to ask me how I wanted my eggs cooked and right after that they hung up on me without finishing the conversation. Called back, asked for a manager and explained everything that had happened, again he said they would make the dish and that was it, no discount, no free side, nothing to rectify the situation, that it was my fault for not checking the order before leaving the facility (even though there was no waiting area or space to go for to go orders, I was standing in the middle of the dinning room, let me just put my stuff down on someone’s table and check this order). I am not the one working getting paid to make the food, pack it up, and give it to the PAYING customer, if you are bagging and handing out the to go orders it is your job to make sure it is all there, it is quite literally YOUR job. This was my first time ever ordering from this place and will be my last, it is absolutely ridiculous what has happened to costumer service now days, instead of making the situation better by offering even the cheapest of things like a free coffee, they immediately are the ones not at fault and blame the one who spent their money at...
Read moreI'm sorry but this restaurant nearly gave me an anxiety attack. Every employee we encountered was very rushy & they have no problem letting it be known to customers who wanted to have a simple, peaceful breakfast. If you have a physically disabled person in your party & request to sit in a padded booth instead of a hard chair table 1 foot from a super loud family, you may be told " mmmmmm... Sure" and be given a look of defeat, making u feel sorry for asking. Your waitress may essentially coerce you into ordering something all in one breath at lightning speed, even if you're elderly and are dining for the first time. You may be caffeine sensitive, order a decaf, and confirmed to that you're being given decaf.. only to start feeling shaky, jittery, headachey and dehydrated 5-10 minutes later. You may ask for plain pancakes, be given pancakes with all kinds of toppings, return the pancakes, and then be given back the same pancakes with all the toppings simply wiped off but their flavors still drenched in the pancakes (at 2 pancakes for $7, talk about stingy!). Somebody might sprint passed your table shouting "how's everything? Good? Great!" And be gone in a flash before you can even turn your head and see who it was. You may want to return your plate of Luke warm food but already feel bad for everything else that's going wrong. But don't worry it'll all be over in a flash and you'll get the bill $25 per person and you'll realize u could've bought groceries to make breakfast for a week.
I just saw that the restaurant apparently opened recently, so I really wish the best and sure things will improve. Just remember that happy smiles and polite words don't mask how customers are being treated. Nobody wants to be rushed through their first...
