This location is in the parking lot of the office that i work in so i have visited several times, with the same result... bad service. I go to Starbucks 5-7times a week sometimes more, and the last few times i have gone to this location specifically they have not made my $5+ drink correctly. and any time i go to ask them to remake it properly they act like I've asked them to kill their puppy. i have thought about writing a review many times before but i thought it was just a coincidence, i made all kinds of excuses, but if this was happening in my office i would want someone to let me know. Today was really what made me feel the need to review. Today i went in, and there was no one in the line ahead of me, several workers were just milling around, i put in my order for a coffee Frap. the most simple frap. to make, but IVY was so worried about getting the ladies behind me their drinks that she made mine in such a rush and made it incorrectly. She made the two ladies behind me their drinks and handed me mine only after they had gotten theirs. I asked for a sleeve and she just continued with what she was doing so i went to grab one and as i did that she finally said ill get it. then i noticed that my Coffee Frap was much too dark to be done correctly. this is the only drink i ever get and like i said above i have this drink 5-7 times a week if not more, so i know what it should look like and this was not it. i tried it to be sure and i was right. there was not enough of the frap base. So I stood at the counter to ask for it to be remade, and she (IVY) wouldn't even look at me. it took 5 min for someone else to come and ask if i needed something. i didn't catch her name, but she promptly made the drink again, but it ended up that she had to go get another bottle of the frap base because IVY tried to use the very last of the bottle, which doesn't give a full pump and that completely messes up the recipe and for any one who is using the info for their calorie counter, or anything like that. She was so worried about the ladies after me that she knew she should have changed that bottle out but didn't, and knew it would not be correct but still gave me the mis-made drink... i don't know, hoping that i wouldn't notice? Imagine if that was the first time i ever had that drink and didn't know that isn't what it should be. Or even worse what if this had been my first experience at a Starbucks!!! How awful would that be! So i just wanted to bring this to someone in charge's attention. Will update post if someone from Starbucks reaches out to me to try and correct this problem. But short of that i do not see myself going back to this location. and that is quite a bummer because it is such a...
Read moreThis location is by far the most attentive Starbucks and customer friendly Starbucks I’ve been to. The friendliness of many of the employees stands out when compared to the many other Starbucks locations I’ve been to. No matter the difficulty of the order or the rudeness of some of the customers, the employees do their job with a smile on their face! I get a drink from this location several times a week.
I normally don’t write reviews especially of places I frequent, but after much thought I wanted to share a great example of the amazing customer service I’ve witnessed today. As I sat drinking my hazelnut latte, I over heard a woman in line being rude, impatient, and overall giving attitude to a young female employee. I thought it was strange because the employee had just made my latte and it was delicious! Before she left the woman in line appeared to have gotten some type of frap and then proceeded to reach over the counter to get a drink sleeve for her cold drink! Who does that?! I’ve seen many entitled rude people before at Starbucks and I’ve also seen the best of people (I’ve even had someone pay for my drink just because), but this lady could not have been more rude and entitled treating a young girl the way she did.
I happened to see the name tag of the employee before I left as I to walked by the counter. The young girl’s name was Ivy, and I just walked by to see if she was ok after the lady left. Even after that incident she continued to do her job with a smile on her face. I have to commend Ivy for her professionalism with a hostile customer! I will continue coming to this Starbucks because they treat their customers amazing professionalism, even when some of the customers don’t treat them well at all! I’ll for sure be coming back for more...
Read moreI’ve discovered only the SECOND Starbucks in North America, the other being in Walton away in Marion, IL, that cannot make a basic cup of coffee. How do you screw up a basic cup of coffee? Well, I can’t tell you but the employees of this store certainly can.
I order a Venti dark roast with extra steamed 2% no foam. No, not a Miso. I don’t want half milk and half coffee. The steamed so that it doesn’t cool the coffee down too much from the start and no foam because the foam makes it look like there’s more steamed milk in it than there is. I’ve visited well over 100 locations around this continent and had fairly consistent results ordering that way that are always within a shade or two of being perfect, which is fine. Not this store. They added a splash of steamed 2:% that had a lot of foam. Then they didn’t even bother mixing it into the coffee at all. An embarrassment to the title “barista,” honestly. Slow down. Do your job properly or learn to do it correctly if it’s a knowledge issue. Either way, get the drinks right when people are paying that much for a cup of coffee. And, in case anyone looks at the picture and is tempted to comment that this looks like extra 2%, you’d be mistaken. This is exactly the color I get all over this same geography when I just ask for 2% and don’t say “extra.” And as a customer paying nearly $4 for a cup of coffee I’m entitled to just a little extra, milk and...
