What a horrible experience! The new staff, and by extension ownership, are a disgrace to the otherwise wonderful world of pizza. They were rude to my partner on the phone and rude to me in person over their attempted refusal to honor an unexpired coupon that this very Sarpino's location mailed to our house in the past 90 days. While I understand that ownership and policies may change the overly aggressive manner in which your "manager" approached the situation was upsetting and completely uncalled for. My partner and I have been loyal patrons of this location since they opened their doors and in a single interaction you have lost our business forever.
To the new ownership: Please take a refresher course on what it means to own and participate in a franchise, what legal obligations are owed when purchasing an existing business, Minnesota’s False Statement in Advertising Act, the FTC's lengthy regulations and recommendations regarding advertisements (e.g. coupons), and general business liability in regards to what your employees say and do when representing your business in an official capacity in a one-party consent state. Please also take some time to learn more about advertising liability and why most coupons have disclaimer verbiage and an expiration date- I promise it will save you future headaches, heartaches, and money. Most importantly, for the love of all that is pizza, do your self a favor and please show that offensively impolite pillock of a "manager" the door before they upset more customers and lose more of your business.
I will be filing a detailed formal complaint with our state's Attorney General and the FTC to ensure that this incident is on record as well as reaching out to Sarpino's corporate offices to report the deceptive and illegal advertisement practices of one of their franchisees. I will now also go out of my way to retell the story of how your location lost our business to anyone and everyone who is willing to listen and I will happily drive the 5 extra minutes to the Minneapolis location to get my future...
Read moreIf I could give less than 1 star I would. I just received the WORST customer service I've EVER experienced. I ordered my food at 1:40, for delivery. My mother is borrowing my car and my husband is at work, also, she asked for my address along with the infamous "will this be cash or credit?". I respond saying cash, and am told my food will be here within 35-40 minutes. An hour passes so I call inquiring the where abouts of my delivery, which I am then told I ordered pick up -it's been waiting for me, BUT she just sent my food out with the delivery driver, it should be there within 10 minutes. Because that makes sense...15 minutes go by, still no food. I call and ask again where my food is. The manager says she is in the store, she has no idea what is happening outside. Verbatim. I then, irritably say don't you think you should find out and call me back? She agrees. 10 more minutes go by, no food, no phone call. I call her back and she says her driver isn't answering so she is sending my food out with a second driver. It will be here within 2-3 minutes. Wait, how are you sending my food out if it's already in route, and why? Finally, over 2 hours later, my food shows up. The driver tells me I need to stop being impatient before anything can leave my mouth. I ask him if he realizes it's been over 2 hours since I ordered my food. He replies by saying what the f* do I care? I'm just the driver!" My face opens in shock at the curse word he drops in front of me, while holding my child in one arm. I rebuttal with "nice customer service! I'd like all of my change back!" He then proceeds to crumple all of my money up and throw it at my face, still while holding my child, and tells me "I'll pay for your fing food b**h". I called the store back and the manager says "I don't know why he did that, I will ask him." I ask to speak to the General Manager, fill him in on the entire ordeal and he replies "I have to get the driver's side of the story.".

Read moreIf I could give this place a zero I would. We placed an order tonight and it was literally the worst experience I have ever had. After ordering our food the delivery driver calls to tell us she can’t find our apartment. We always leave directions in the notes on how to access our building and find our apartment. She says she can’t find it and she left the food in the lobby. We walk down to the lobby. The food is no where to be found. After looking around we decide to check the other building. We find our order only to find out they didn’t deliver half our food. We called the restaurant to speak with a manager about our delivery experience and the missing food. I ask for my money back for the items we didn’t receive he refuses and says he will remake the order. Another hour goes by and the same delivery driver calls again. Says the apartment is a maze and she left it in the lobby again. We ask if she left it in the same place as before as that was not the right building. She said she did and refused to actually deliver the food then hung up on us. We call to speak to the manager again who then tells us we are taking advantage of their restaurant and lying about our experience. Refused to refund our money after providing the absolute worst experience. Then the general manager hangs up on us. Disgusted with how this store treats their customers. I do not recommend...
