My fiancé and I have been coming here for months and usually we have a great experience. However tonight was just a complete disaster. First, when we pulled up to the window to order we could hear angry screaming and yelling from a woman that was working inside. She was being very aggressive and mean, yelling at her coworkers. At first this didn’t really bother us, more so just made us feel bad for the guys getting yelled at. Then they bring out my ice cream and it was made incorrectly. This wasn’t a big issue for us, as we just asked for them to remake it. The guy looked at us in terror, knowing he was about to get screamed at for messing up the order. Which is exactly what happened. She absolutely mortified these poor coworkers and screamed at them the whole time. At this point this is giving my fiancé and I anxiety ourselves because we felt so bad for these people but also we felt very unsafe about her aggressive outbursts and what they could lead to. She came to the window to clarify what we wanted and also explained that we were overcharged. She then proceeded to leave and yell AGAIN. We never got our reimbursement. Finally, we got the orders we wanted (even though my jackhammer still didn’t have extra peanut butter like I asked multiple times). I just simply asked for an extra very small cup of peanut butter sauce and she said it would cost extra. I asked if that could be pardoned because of all this trouble AND that she never reimbursed us. She said no and made us pay. Throughout this experience my fiancé and I gradually started to become more and more anxious and upset because of how we were being treated and seeing other people getting treated so horribly too for simple mistakes. Her attitude was unnecessary, inappropriate, and just so mean. I’m sorry for this long review but I really think this...
Read moreWorst experience. I ordered a oreo cookie icecream waffle cone. The girl said the small and medium were the same size so I said small. It was listed at $2.50 approximately on the menu for a small waffle cone. I was charged $5.86 approx. I was shocked but thought I must have read the menu incorrectly. I went back to the menu later and nope, it said $2.xx. When I picked up my order I was given a very small amount of ice cream(not even a scoop that you would receive at Ted Drewe's and then handed me a cup full of broken up oreo cookies. I said don't you put the cookies in the cream? They said no, you have to add them yourself. So being my first time I figured okay, I will not complain and be a nice customer so I sat down and tried to eat the waffle cone. It was so salty and soft that I had to throw it away and I threw the oreo cookies away as I like them mixed in the ice cream as everyone else serves it that I have seen. So basically I got a half of a scoop of vanilla cream for $5.86 and threw the rest away. Sooooooooo bad. I was going to go up and complain but when I looked at the receipt I was given, it was not for my order, it was for a family that obviously ordered 5 different concretes. They couldn't even get the receipt right. So I thought I would go up anyway but there was a line of about 15 people at the window and my friends were ready to leave . How can you mess up ice cream? Awful. Go...
Read moreLet me start by saying, I’ve worked in this industry. My dad opened an ice cream parlor and deli and that was my first job when I was 12 years old. I went on to work at other fast food and soft serve establishments. So I know what it’s like to work in food service, and I treat servers with respect. But the quickest way to get on my bad side is to give me attitude and provide poor quality customer service. This Andy’s location sadly has had poor customer service on repeated occasions. I’ve been going to Andy’s for years. I had one staff person bring me a sundae after I ordered a concrete (I always get a concrete, never ordered a sundae here in my life). I get it, mistakes happen. But when I let him know, he had the audacity to try and argue with me. I let him have his moment. On another occasion, I received a concrete atypical of the quality I’m used to from Andy’s. It was completely and heavily blended without any threads of sauce or other ingredients left. When I very politely asked for them to redo it, I got attitude and told “that’s what a concrete is.” Really? Not in the two plus years I’ve been coming almost weekly have I once ever received a concrete like this. But nice try trying to tell a long time customer “how it is.” Thinking of going to Andy’s? Pass on this location, for now, until they’ve addressed quality standards and customer...
