EDIT: Just got over the worst food poisoning I’ve ever had in my entire life. Never coming back. Friendly bartenders and waiters but, I felt so awful that I get nauseous when I think about how bad I felt even though I’m better now. This started on a Sunday night and it is now Thursday, I threw up so much that I lost my voice and my stomach is still sore from it, couldn’t hold down food or water for 2.5 days. Everything instantly came up, couldn’t even handle eating baby food. Blood in my stool too which is freaking scary. Lost 6 lbs from the ordeal, so go here if you want to lose weight from severe and potentially life threatening food poisoning I guess. Let’s just say I was so dehydrated that during this entire time I didn’t even urinate, because everything was coming out 2 other holes 😬 My mom has been a nurse for 25 years and she believes it was salmonella or ecoli, I ate chicken so probably salmonella Thank god I’m 21 with a very high metabolism and immune system, if I was an elder I would’ve been finished off. I genuinely thought that I was dying and I’ve only been that sick 3 times in my life, if it went on for another day I was going to call an ambulance, not go to a hospital. Solid 4 across the board. Cute small Mexican joint, although it really leans toward a Taco Joint, then full Mexican food. Limited menu. If you want some tacos, it's a good place to check out, but if you're looking for more of a selection, many this might not be your jam. No chips or salsa, unless you purchase them, never really liked places that did that. I'd at least would understand you get some with a drink purchase. No sweeteners at all if you're an unsweet tea drinker like me. I'm a diabetic and use them to limit my sugar intake, but they carry non. Nice looking bar. Waitress was super nice but seemed very new. No English at all, and she had to keep going to the bar and asking the bartender to come over to talk to us. Wasn't a big deal. She was trying hard to help. The food was good. My wife and I saw the reviews of people raving about the guacamole and since they were rated higher than any other Mexican restaurant at 4.8, we thought we’d try it. We’re both from LA and well, we know Mexican and often cook Mexican at home. We got Birria short rib beef Tacos and fish tacos -and of course, the Guacamole. We have NEVER had more flavorful Mexican anywhere and we could not have been more impressed. No wonder everyone is crazy about the Guacamole! Holy Moly that was the best ever! The fish tacos were flavorful fresh and crisp, and the barria tacos… unbelievable. Prices were most reasonable and my wife refused to share her piña colada with me because, in her words it was to die for.
