Leaving this review in regards to the manager at the Richmond KY Olive Garden. Tonight my mother, daughter, and I went to eat here and had the sweetest server. When it was time to pay our bill our server said our bill had already been paid. She didn’t know what had happened so she went to talk to the manager, after about being gone for 5 minutes she came back and said the manager would be over to talk to us. We sat there for THIRTY minutes and the manager NEVER came out. I had my daughter whining because she was tired wanting to go home (also a school night). Within those thirty minutes our server had came to us twice asking if the manager had been to talk to us and she went to get her twice (we were seated by the kitchen/host stand so I could see her walk back there) The manager never came out and sent the server back out with no explanation other than “she fixed it” so we could pay our bill that had already been paid by someone else. Not 5 minutes after our server left I assume what was the manager came out of what I like to call hiding. Not 100 percent sure was the manager but I’m pretty positive she was because she was dressed different from everyone else. As a manager myself I think it was absolutely ridiculous that the so called manager couldn’t address the problem and sent the sweet server out with no information other than she somehow made another bill for us. Obviously she was not concerned with customer service and was more than likely concerned with having to give us a discount or her just taking care of the bill herself. Which she should have with how long we sat there and waited for her to never show! This definitely needs to be addressed to corporate so they know either the “manger” was not properly trained to do a managerial job or to know she simply did not care about her customers and did not want to face any type of conflict. I never leave reviews but this is something that needs to be taken care of and addressed. I felt so bad for the nice server she just kept apologizing (she did nothing wrong) because the manager would not come out and she herself had no idea what the...
Read moreUsually, one of my favorite OG chains to stop and eat but this time it was lacking in service tried to get in before the 11-3 lunch special got there at approximately 215pm, and wasn't seated until right at 3 pm after being told it was just a 15-minute wait. Told our server about it and she stated that she would still be able to give us the lunch deal, but after waiting for our food for almost 30 minutes (endless soup salad and breadsticks) and eating. When I received the receipt found out that she had not given the lunchtime price, but the full dinner cost which is only about 4 dollars more so no big deal on cash just about someone keeping their word that bothered me. But I still tipped $10 on a $36 bill. Just hoping that the tips are split for some of the servers that attend to their customers and keep their word. And it was not busy if you're wondering. There were enough empty tables in the restaurant to seat everyone waiting and then some I believe it is or was a staffing issue which is why I still tipped well and if so my apologies to the Waitress who served us she was kind and very respectful after kitchen messed up our order 2 times. You're still awesome at what you do and don't let my critique hurt...
Read moreCame in Saturday and our favorite server Misty was not here. The only reason we came back was for her amazing service. The shrimp Alfredo too, but her service is why we initially came back. So we get here and the host was really rude. Taylor? I think or maybe it was Tyla? Anyway tall slender girl. She was extremely rude when we asked for Misty. She told us she would never be back, ever. Well, alright then Taylor, neither will we. Her service meant everything or even more to us. One of our children is Autistic and couldn't eat off the regular menu. Misty asked him what his favorite food was, he said bread. So what did she do? When everyone's food came out Misty brought this child Italian donuts with sharing and dipping saucprion the side and baked fresh bread with no butter or garlic just for Chase our son. She even paid for the donuts out of her pocket. I hope we're ever she is she knows how appreciated she is and we will pray that she's at a better place. Hope we find her. We took our 5 stars back since you took our reason to eat here away. Sometimes it has more to do with how...
