My sister came here to order food for the both of us. The internet wasn’t working on her phone so she asked for the Wi-Fi password. The barista (Gray) decided to go into full on C mode and refused to give her the password unless she ordered something which meant she had to place our order without being able to double check what I wanted. Also, I would like to stress that Gray was not polite about it - she was rude and acted inconvenienced. Anyway, if anyone else goes there it’s brewing804culture Now, maybe rude customer service could be looked past if the food was amazing but it wasn’t. I got a vegan sausage egg and cheese on a bagel and it’s clear no effort was made to actually cook the components. The cheese wasn’t melted which to me shows that the egg and sausage were not hot when placed on the bagel. I’ve made this exact sandwich at home and the heat from the egg and sausage is typically enough to melt the cheese - especially if I wrap it up in foil after making it. I got the Colden Club sandwich and a vegan grilled cheese to eat later. The club was supposed to be toasted but their toaster must be broken. Grilled cheese yet again an issue with the cheese not being fully melted. Thank goodness I’m not planning to eat it right away so when I reheat it I’ll be able to make sure all the cheese gets melted.

It’s absolutely disheartening to share this review but I must also be honest. My partner and I were walking and exploring the downtown Richmond area and we came across a sign “support black owned business” we also noticed the LGBTQ flag we were intrigued and wanted support. We ordered two breakfast bagel turkey sausage sandwiches and they were terrible. The sausage was dried out, the bagel was very dry, the egg had absolutely no flavor. This spot is in a great location and near the convention center and could be a gold mine however the staff personality was very dry as well. With the right people and a little love in food this could be a prime time social spot. Many airline flight attendants stay local to this shop and could provide a great deal of business to this establishment however I wouldn’t recommend to my peers.

From the time you walk into the door- the ladies at the front are so sweet and accommodating. Seeing that we had our kids with us- They welcomed us with menus and told us we could get comfy and make it a more stress free experience. The atmosphere is very calming and cool. Lots of “vibes” literally and such cute decor. The menu has a great selection for picky eaters like me and super simple ingredients! GREAT PRICES! GREAT FOOD! Got turkey bacon and honey butter toast and both were SOOO GOOD. Also, gotta throw props to my girl that made my pumpkin spice latte. Starbucks ain’t got nothing on her 😂 I’m sad I won’t be able to get it for a while since I no longer live in Richmond, but this place- HIGHLY recommend and hope to visit next year again when we come back to visit family!

I've worked in downtown Richmond for the past 4 years and walked to my local Starbucks coffee shop today just to see the line was out the door. I ended up googling on my phone "local coffee shops" and realized there was a black-owned coffee shop less than a block away.

I couldn't believe all these years there was another coffee shop within walking distance from me. Not only that, the customer service was top tier. Everyone was laughing and friendly joking around with each other & the customers. It was so welcoming and had positive vibes.

Not to mention, the coffee & food was amazing! I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel. The egg was seasoned so well & the bacon was actually crispy and not overcooked. Was not surprised at all that the cold brew coffee was smooth and did not taste over roasted!

I definitely found my new local RVA coffee shop today! I plan on doing a TikTok review on this place as well (with the owner's...
