UPDATE: November 2023.... Decided to try again. This time in person instead of Uber Eats. Customer service was excellent! Ordered curry chicken dinner, and I asked for extra gravy. Not only did they not charge me for it, but they gave extra gravy, and the food was excellent. I was able to get double of the delicious cabbage! I didn't get the patties this time because I figured they would be the same, good, but just not enough filling for me. This in person visit has made this my absolute favorite Jamaican restaurant. I will continue being a loyal customer and will always go in person. The in-person experience is better than the Uber Eats' experience to me. Try them. You will love them!

My first visit review....(October 2023)

Ordered via Uber Eats. The food was perfect. The spice of the chicken patty was great. The spice of the beef patty would have been just as good if the heat was kicked up to the level of the chicken. I didn't give 5 stars for three reasons. The curry chicken by the oz. was good, but I wish it had more spice. Next, I did not mind at all paying 2.00 for extra curry gravy, but I would have never paid 2.00 for two teaspoons of gravy. I was highly annoyed and very disappointed. That part was a useless purchase to me as that little bit would have easily fit in with the curry chicken. It was tasty but for 2.00, the amount is unfair to customers. Lastly, I was disappointed to open my patties to find a dollop of filling in each. Again, it was very tasty, but the filling was in no way proportionate to the bread. I felt like I only paid for bread. Your food is very good, probably the best I've ever had. That is why I give 4 stars. I'm going to try one more time to see if customer commentary is important to your business. If I see that it is, I will become a loyal customer and highly recommend your restaurant to all I know. If food is the same, I will respectfully move on. Oh yea, I forgot to say. the steamed cabbage. OMG!!!, delicious too. I promise I want to keep supporting this restaurant. Your food...

I give this place 5stars … my cousin who lives in riverdale recommended this place and it did not disappoint what so ever . I live an hour away in Covington and it survived the whole ride staying warm … I sampled alil bit before I started driving and I couldn’t wait to get home and watch my shows while I enjoyed the rest of this food.

I ordered the jerk chicken plate with rice n peas , Mac n cheese , and cabbage ☺️ and I had some of my sister’s oxtail pasta … it was absolutely delicious. The flavors mixed very well together and the stewed jerk sauce was amazing . When I’m ever back on that side of town I WILL go there again .

Thank you all for the great service . The staff Mr and Mrs I assume were very personable , pleasant and lovely . I forgot to mention the plethora of natural drinks options they have as well . I demolished the sorrel otw home .. I love sorrel and from the first taste I just knew the food was gonna be good . That was some good sorrel . I HIGHLY recommend it.

S/o to everyone who is involved with making this a business. You all have exceeded any expectation I may have had. I wish this restaurant much love and success and if you guys get the chance to expand please let a location fall in the east ATL / Covington Ga area 💖

Yesterday, was my first time trying this restaurant and they didn't fail to disappoint. Im Jamaican/Bahamian and am no stranger to yaad food. I'm new here from Miami and have yet to find any good Caribbean food. I ordered the Jerk Chicken, peas and rice, cabbage, collards and an extra order of Curry Mutton. The best thing out of everything was the rice and that could've used some work, couldn't even taste the coconut. The greens was high seasoned, the cabbage was boring, the jerk chicken didn't have any sauce, so i had to use the Curry from the goat which defeats the purpose of ordering jerk chicken. To top everything off, they gave me no meat but mostly fat and bare bone for goat. I paid $21 and change for everything. A COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME. Honestly, i would've took it back but i stay way in Decatur. It took me 1 hr to get home, due to traffic....i just finished a 12hr shift with no food. I was tired and wasn't going to waste more flipping time. SMH. I must say the gentleman at the front was very pleasant which i why ill give you guys 2 stars, thanks to him. I really wanted to give 1 or no...
