Panda Express — Restaurant in Riverdale

Panda continues to disappoint. They have no accommodation for those who are allergic or have a disliking to onion. In this case both the chow mein and the friend rice are littered with onion. Unlike other Panda Express location, they would not consider making a batch even though we had a number of people who said they would rather have a batch of fried rice without it. That aside, orange chicken is still ok.

Food aside, tables were dirty. This seems to be a usual theme with Panda. Staff are dismissive and uncaring about speed of service or people who are waiting on entries to be cooked (in this case for another batch of teriyaki chicken). It took 25 minutes for the chicken to finally finish. After about 15 minutes we took the portion of our Togo order that was done, the orange chicken, and started eating it as we wait. It was getting cold anyway.

One other thing. For those parents thinking the grilled chicken for kids is safe, the chicken came out almost all in one big chunk. I can see the knife marks in it, but they never finished the cutting of it. This almost became a choking hazard. When we saw it, we pulled it the rest of the way apart ourselves. I know they get busy, but when the chicken finished their was only 5 people in the store besides my family. Their was nothing to stop them from finishing cutting the chicken or preparing the rest...

Worst experience I’ve ever had here I have been going to this location for years and I have never been treated so badly. the gentleman that was initiating the orders was rude and to frazzled to even listen to what the customers wanted I watched him dish up food for an older lady gave her the wrong item then when she corrected him he scraped the wrong item off the top of her bowl of food back in the serving bowl and then put the correct item in. Then when he got to me he was not listening to my order and only seamed Interested in the online orders that were coming in. when the young lady finally came to help me and I tried to explain my order he interrupted accused me of yelling at her which I was not I may have raised my voice so she could hear me over the noise of the kitchen and restaurant so that I could get my order correct. but I was not yelling. Im not sure who this gentleman is but he has ruined my experience at this restaurant and I will not be returning...

On Wednesday Nov.5th around dinner time I went to this Panda Express. All I can say is wow. After reading through recent reviews there seems to be a common denominator the management here is not doing its job. I had 4 people try and help me with a gift card I recently purchased, I hadn’t spent anything off of it, they tried 3 different ways to apply this gift card none of them worked. They told me I had already spent the money; I insisted I had not. Instead of figuring out the issue they instead made me pay a different way which I wasn’t expecting gave me no answers about my gift card.. I called the number on the back and sure enough there was plenty of money for the transaction.. none of them seemed like they had a clue what to do.
