So early on in 2020 they showed up on a google search but they weren't open for months later. Today they were supposed to have a soft opening that was advertised on Instagram as public. Their location on maps is in the middle of an intersection. I called to clarify this after parking nearby and was told about a closure. Not only did they never tell me the shop's locatoin, they turned me away due to a shortage of their supplies. Instead they decided to make the shop only open for "friends and family". Many businesses I purchase from are so inviting and make customers feel like friends, so I guess all the customers that have eagerly been waiting are unimportant to their business and they did not promote that they were closed. To top off the already bitter experience, they do not even offer any form of compensation for missing out on their BOGO deal (which is their mishap). I hope they learn from this not to advertise if they are not serious about delivering on their advertisement and also to update this information publicly instead of only to those that show up/call. Will be taking my business somewhere else that...
Read moreI was really excited to try this place since it’s close to our house. My toddler saw the plush toys through the window last week and asked if we could go in, so tonight we went in to grab teas for the family before dinner. There was one customer already ordering when we walked in, it took a few minutes as they seemed to be out of a lot of things the customer was trying to order. As we waited, another pair of customers came in behind us. When the cashier was done taking the first customers order she just walked away - no “I’ll be with you in a minute” or anything like that. So we continued to wait. And wait. And wait. She didn’t say a word to us, so we ended up leaving to go to another tea shop. As soon as we walked out the door, the cashier called up the customers who came in behind us and took their order immediately. I’m not sure what her problem was, but it’s pretty clear this place is not kid friendly even if your kid isn’t acting inappropriately. Maybe a great shop, but if you have kids you’d be better off stopping by a...
Read moreI recently tried a Thai tea at this boba spot and unfortunately, it was disappointing. The flavor was too strong, and it lacked the usual balance of milk and sweetness. It felt like the measurements were off, resulting in a very unbalanced taste. The boba was hard. I kindly asked if there was any way to remake the drink, but the cashier seemed taken aback and said that no one had ever mentioned anything like this before. Despite trying to explain that it didn’t taste like other Thai teas I’ve had, he seemed confused. Eventually, the person in the back added more sweetener, but it didn’t improve the flavor much. Overall, the quality of the drink was just not up to par. I’d rate it 1/10 and unfortunately wouldn’t recommend it based on this experience. I...
