Negative zero star if i could. I have to say this. Host was ok welcoming, but then everything went down the drain, when bussboy ( tossed our chips basket n salsa at our table and ran off… chips went flying .. And no words just a quick toss. We were not feeling it after that, but just to satisfy our stomach because we were soo hungry because of our long distance drive.. we gave it a try. Server was just plain n simple. No recommendations or anything. Did not bring utensils until we asked and we had all the food on the table. We call her to ask for utensil and she asked how many? … I think she was expecting us to eat with our fingers. For the Ice tea, and lemonade no refills nothing tea had a dirty water taste. So, We ordered the carne asada plate and chiken fajitas. Plain and simple like the server. Honestly, The carne asada had like and old piece of meat taste, sour, and it had a weird odor.. i felt like puking…for the chicken fajitas I had to add a lot of salt for taste. The rice was out of a package…thats forsure because of the taste, rice a roni has a better taste. The beans, my god! Where do they get their cooks or their products. those beans are worse than expired fried can beans. Of course we mention it to server, they dont cook it, but how dare you question my taste buds.. when mexican food does not taste like that. If I wanted a cheaper version i would of gone to taco bell. Rodrigos Mexican grill should be embarrassed adding “mexican” to their name. Where is Gordon Ramsey when you need him. ? Manager took off one little item of check.. what a shame. I still left a 5 buck tip. I didnt know what to feel after that, my anxiety kicked in and wanted to get the hell out of there. I had to use the restroom right after and there was no toiler paper.. wtheck… the whole management for this place is horrible. My stomach went sour as a arrive home but thats a situation for a different time, but that food contributed to that. Worse place I have ever eaten , and will never go back again or recommend it. They need to step it up or better said, they need...
Read moreMy family and I decided to come in for a celebration of life for my mother. We come here every year to celebrate. But instead of celebrating, our entire time was ruined because of our server his name was Armando. Our terrible service began when it took him 20 minutes to bring us drinks other than the water we got when we first sat down. It then turned into having another server take our order and tell him to put it in the system. Armando got another table about a half hour after we sat down. Armando was able to attend to them just fine. They were able to get their drinks, appetizers, and entrees within a timely manner. Everytime we tried to get his attention he was never there. We had to chase him down at the bar to even get our bill because when we noticed that the other table had gotten their food and we still hadn't gotten ours after an hour and a half. We wanted to get the check because it was kind of too long for us to be waiting. When we were waiting we were attended to buy a different waitress her name was Monica and we were not in her section but she still helped us in the best way that she could because she noticed that we were being neglected by our own server. Armando needs to do better. He ruined a celebration of life that was a constant tradition and now I'm even debating if I want to consider continuing this tradition at this restaurant any further. My trust in the service has been hurt terribly. It came to a point where it felt like he left our food to get cold and they had to warm it up in the microwave because it took so long to get to us. How dare he be awful. Amazing praises to Monica for being a great server when she didn't have to help us. Give her a...
Read moreGreat management and an amazing server saved the day. Last visit was Valentine's Day, a busy day to be sure, but no reason not to still have an enjoyable time. Evening was almost ruined by poor customer service from the hostess staff. We were not acknowledged upon entering and approaching the front desk and then were skipped completely on the waiting list. When asked where we were on the list, we were told our name had already been called and they even went outside to check, but we were sitting outside the front door the during this time. Needless to say, we decided to stay knowing the wait staff is exceptional and the food is always delicious. And they didn't disappoint. Asked to speak with a manager and Nacho was very understanding of our frustration and was happy to hear about our experience. He offered his apologies and even said he was glad to know about the issue, because otherwise it may have gone unchecked. Our server, Esmerelda, was equally awesome. (And so was the gentlemen who kept us supplied on chips and salsa. Thanks buddy!) Esmeralda was very patient when we had questions about the food and was attentive during the meal. And the meal! Delicious, as always! Valentine's Day Fajita Meal for 2 was a great deal. So thank you, Nacho and Esmeralda (and the chip/salsa guy!) for redeeming what could've been a negative experience and turning it in a very well spent...
