Sprinkles Riverton — Restaurant in Riverton

I’ve been so excited about this opening of Sprinkles in UT…. They opened about a week ago and we drove an hour to get there and it was a huge disappointment…. I’ve been to several other locations on both coasts and this location was extraordinarily sad. The shelves were lackluster, the ordering system was ridiculous and it was 11:30am on a weekday and they were out of several flavors (4 to be exact). The system allowed me to order what I wanted and I paid for it, then I was told they were sold out of a flavor I wanted. I’m thinking that you make ONE item…. You should never run out before noon when you open at 10am!!! Lastly, (and the two worst things) You couldn’t see the cupcakes!! There is this big huge dumb sign covering up ALL the cupcakes…. Their display is so sad and uninviting. And there is NO explanation anywhere of what the cupcakes are. A description of they kind of cake and flavor of frosting would be so helpful….. I’m not usually this critical, but my disappointment was immense…. I hope they make some positive changes soon. $5.50+ for a cupcake should bring in the revenue they need to make the experience enjoyable… PLUS SIDE: The workers were...

I have been to a lot of sprinkles during travels, but this Utah location unfortunately is a huge miss. Going in to see employees backs turned to you while you order through a kiosk is very disheartening for the usual friendly and inviting customer service received at other locations.

The display also isn’t inviting.. who doesn’t judge a cupcake by the looks? Relying on an iPad just kills the excitement. But also… ask for a tip? Don’t think so.. it’s not deserved.

It’s very small and cramped while you wait for your order. The flavors are very disappointing in comparison to their other locations. The sugar cookie cupcake has always had a sugar cookie on the bottom as well, but this was plain, dry, and salty. The sugar cookie on top was so hard I thought it broke my tooth.

I gave 3 stars. This specific location doesn’t deserve it, but Sprinkles is a great place. It’s a shame this one doesn’t meet the other locations quality since this is the closest one to me. Even the sprinkles vending machine at the Vegas airport has better cupcakes.

Typically I don’t mind paying the high price cause it’s a rare treat, but I don’t see myself going back...

I was so disappointed in the vending experience of this cupcake shop. My girls and I saw this from far away and thought what a cool experience to do the vending of the cupcakes 🧁. We ran over and I was hesitant because the cupcake 🧁 price bit I said let me see this experience why not this one time . So I let them select their cupcakes and their faces were lighting up as they chose the ones they wanted . Paid . The sprinkle song came on for about 10 seconds , as I was trying to put my email in and wanting to also video the experience of the cupcakes coming out . But they never did instead we got a sorry this machine is not working g 😕. The girls hearts were so sad . This was why we ran this far...... we walked inside and told the staff how sad they were and that 😢 it was so disappointing that we didn't get the experience or cupcakes . The staff seemed to know the machine doesn't work 🙄 and that it was an often occurrence. The experience was poor 😢 . Something that cool and unique should...
