Absolutely awful experience. I would give zero stars if I could.

I went in expecting a full gel set with a beautiful cat eye design. Not only did the tech not know how to do the design, but she didn’t even do a full set like I asked—she did a lazy fill-in and left the old product underneath. She didn’t remove it properly, and the surface of my nails looks bumpy and messy.

The gel application was terrible. There wasn’t enough gel used to cover the full nail, and the base of my natural nails is visibly exposed with no product. She filed so aggressively that it hurt, probably because there was barely any gel there to protect the nail. The polish job was uneven, messy, and honestly embarrassing. You can see it in the photos.

She kept asking if I liked them, and I said yes just to avoid making her feel bad—but I absolutely hated them. On top of that, she charged me $60 for a fill-in when their website clearly says a different price. It’s a total disappointment. I would never go back and I don’t recommend this place to anyone.

I was apprehensive to try this place because it was my first time getting acrylics done. I wasn't sure if I wanted to try Polish Nail Bar 1 or wanted to go to a nail tech that does it out of her house or small business. I decided on this place as the location is convenient and nearby to stores I like to buy clothes from and a delicious boba place just across the street. Overall, my experience was pleasant thanks to Mina and Q. The older lady was the one who greeted me when I first walked in, I think she was the manager. I feel bad because I couldn't understand her and my nervousness made me more awkward but she accommodated me by sitting me at Mina's table. Mina allowed me to show her a reference of what I wanted and was open to trying it. It was amazing watching her so her art. On the design, I wanted flowers painted on but instead she gave me cute charms. I have been here before and had dip nails done by a guy, can’t remember his name, was great! I came here a 2nd time with Nina for dip nails and what an experience. She didn’t greet me as I sat down. Didn’t ask what color I wanted- I had to share and try and ask questions. She was in such a rush I had to tell her her filing was hurting me- then she talked on the phone while she was doing my nails and says “you’re done.” And starts pushing me away with her belongings. Not hey do you like your nails? Cause woof they were terrible. Extremely see through- I said are these supposed to be this see through? She goes oh sometimes hard to see in the light. I said you’re obviously in a rush to get somewhere- she grudgingly goes I can fix them. Then she finally was doing her job and paying attention to my nails.
