"Once upon a time, in the enchanting realm of Cellō Coffee House & Cafe, I embarked on a culinary adventure that would make even the most seasoned foodie green with envy. 🍴✨
Enter Joe, the owner, a man whose smile is as warm as the coffee he brews. He proudly revealed the secret treasure of Cellō – a trove of 19 homemade baklavas, crafted by him and his wife. I chose the pistachio baklava, and let me tell you, it was a slice of heaven – not too sweet, with a flavor that sang a symphony in my mouth. 🥮🎶
But wait, there's more! I paired this with a Nutella Turkish Coffee, initially to-go. But then – plot twist! – I spotted the cutest little cups and a Turkish pitcher that screamed 'Drink me here!' Joe chuckled as I changed my mind (sorry, Joe, it's a girl thing!), and we shared a laugh that echoed through the cafe. ☕🤣
The breakfast Cello Bagel? Oh, it's a story in itself. Imagine hummus, falafel, and tahini sauce in a bagel embrace, teleporting my taste buds to Turkey, lounging by the luxurious Hagia Sophia. It was a 'where have you been all my life?' moment. 🥯🕌
And just when I thought it couldn't get any better, an adorable couple started sharing their food with me. We dived into grape leaf wraps, and let me tell you, it was a 'OMG, where have you been hiding these?' kind of yummy. 🍇
In the end, Cellō isn't just a coffee house; it's a magical kingdom where delicious food reigns supreme, and Joe and his wife are the benevolent rulers. Hats off to them for creating a place where every bite tells a story!
Can't wait to return to this little slice of Turkish delight in the heart of our town. Cellō, you had me at 'homemade...
Read moreI have been here multiple times and enjoyed food, pastries and coffees, however, not sure what has changed with my recent visit. I specifically questioned which was stronger, Turkish or Greek coffees and advised Turkish and decided to try a Nutella Turkish Latte. My cup and total were presented, which was $7+, which I questioned, to be told I had told him Yes when he asked if I wanted a large. I can honestly say, there was never a question regarding size. He got abrupt asking if I wanted to be charged for regular, which I stated No, I would pay adding that he didn’t need to be so gruff. He responded with excuses that he was very much and had things to do (I suppose more important than serve me coffee). My propulsion for writing this is that I could not taste a drop of coffee flavor in my latte! After questioning which was the strongest and him referring to Turkish being much like espresso, one should taste the coffee. I didn’t dare question again, but write rather as a warning that less coffee being used, if any, for me and the fact that I most certainly never said yes to a large. Shame, because I’ve raved to others about the shop for...

We were actually looking for a dessert option and someone local recommended this. Boy did they nail it. Sweets offered are baklava, smoothies, ice cream, ice coffees, slushies, shakes, and muffin type things. Saw a cheesecake slice (Turkish Coffee?) that looked awesome.
We sampled both chocolate and white chocolate/caramel baklava. I love both. There were numerous options to choose from and exhaustive for baklava flavors. If you like baklava, you will like it here. Never had it before, this is a good place to start.
Was also told this is homemade ice cream. Don't gotta tell us twice. I got the Arabica Pistachio and wow doesn't begin to describe it. Plenty of pistachios and unique flavor.
Interior is well decorated with maybe five tables available. It is somewhat quaint. Food offerings include, gyros, shawarma, hummus, falafel, bagels, and sandwiches. So you could potentially get all your grub fix here.
Perhaps a dark horse for sweets but this was a great stop and spot on recommendation...
