Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Roanoke

My experience was horrible and embarrassing after waiting to make our order via the drive thru I explicitly ordered (3) coney island cheese dogs and a orange slush again after a lengthy wait to get to the pickup window we paid $7.06 for our order eventually it was given to us however, we were only given two hot dogs, after I got the attendant's attention I let her know she ask for a receipt I explained you didn't give me one she then replied that will be two dollars an sum chain I had to beg her to verify our order on the register then to be told rudely if you would like another hot dog it will be two dollars and sum change she never explained the cost of the product by this time I was so aggravated we just left!...*09/08/20 Totally unacceptable its evident that this location has repeated rude customer interactions from staff and management and offers a corporate appeasement of a free menu item this is just as bad as the rude employee behavior and a total copout I encourage customers to review previous post and see the repeated comments and lack of empathy and customer respect...SONIC we had many choices in food vendors on the night in question 09/07/20 however we chose the location near Kroger, Sam's and Lowe's Roanoke and became a victim of a repeated long vicious cycle of horrible customer service...BUYER...

Update: stopped one last time on my way out of town to the next Job I ordered a smasher with only extra cheese pickles ketchup mustard and I added chili it is by far the best thing I've ever eaten in my entire life at a Sonic I recommend a fork and a knife but it is worth it

The service was great the food is amazing I just want to add thank you for making a well-cooked burger I hate biting into a burger and it's pink in the middle I like my meat cooked thank you guys I was so hungry and I was so happy I usually buy the burger extra and feed it to my dog but I ate almost the whole thing she only had like three quarters of it well know she had like a third of it but that says something about your burger if I ate half of it myself thank you guys for being alive and honestly like I couldn't even take a good picture of it but it looks good and it tasted yummy I'm just so tired that I able to and I was like oh I forgot the picture next time cuz I will come back again you are now my breakfast place I love having normal food in the morning and you know...

So I’ve been to this sonic many times. Most of the time they get my order wrong. However they’re always willing to redo the order... so that’s why I’ve kept going to them. Unfortunately I don’t think I’ll be going back there any time soon. I decided to go through drive thru to get a drink, mind you there was only 3 car hops full and one other person in front of me in the drive thru. Anyways, I pulled up and was ready to place my order. About four minutes passed, no one had taken my order.. so I pulled up a little more. Now about seven minutes have passed, there’s people behind me, so I beep my horn. At this point I’m getting frustrated, it’s now been close to ten minutes! I decide to yell into the box and say “is someone going to take my order or do you not want my money?” Not even a minute later someone is taking my order. I was so frustrated and still am. If someone would’ve said it’ll be a minute until they can take my order, that would be fine! But the fact I sat there for close to ten minutes trying to get someone’s attention to take my order is crazy. They have really good food when they get your order right... but drive thru shouldn’t take that long with no line in...
