ECPI University — Attraction in Roanoke

This place is a complete joke. I feel that I am doing anybody reading this an injustice by having to give it even one star. From day one my class was flat out told by our professor that they didn't care about teaching us and only care about the benefits. This was further demonstrated by the entire teaching administration with their lackluster on the job performance. It's a shame that you have to pay so much money for an education to ultimately end up having to teach yourself the material. For crying out loud one of the professors didn't know how to calculate a simple dosage conversion. To make matters worse, the DON was made aware of this issue and nothing was done. Incompetence to teaching the material is absolutely unacceptable. Anyone can create a test with a test generator!!! If you need help with something, wish in one hand and s* in the other and see which one fills up first. They know they have a weak administration in the LPN program and simply don't care. They only care about getting your money and nothing else. PLEASE, avoid this over priced and disappointing school at all cost. Do NOT make the same...

I wonder what happed here. I went to this place years ago, about 2009. It was ECPI, then turned into Skyline College, but now its back to ECPI. I know its been years since I took classes, but even then the front office was a bit of a mess. I would say the teachers there were a 50/50 on classes and teaching. I had some that took the time to help me understand the stuff from networking security, but others did nothing but let me fail; even when I asked for help. My lowest grade ever in school was in a math class that I had to use the computer to learn, which made it a challenge for me. I needed step by step showing style to help me learn. I failed with a 12...yes, math is my weak spot but even in high school, I had help learning some of the tough stuff. Either way, I was interested in the name change again after ten years. If I can leave a zero I would. They paint everyone a beautiful picture but the minute life happens and you have to withdraw, they all turn their backs on you. I was an RN student there, had to withdraw because it was either school or become homeless with 5 children. Melinda from financial aid messed up completely my account, told me she would fix her error, now they have me owing more than double of what I owe. I’ve left message even to the president of the campus and no one answers me. I’ve asked for assistance on enrolling for an online degree and that neither. Stay clear, I’m not the only person that financial aid messed up with. Very unprofessional and rude once you have to leave the school.
